Ea Sports games on PC are a joke. 2k NBA games are brilliant, I would've mentioned their NFL games as well if EA and said league didn't sign that garbage monopolizing deal.

Come to think of it, EA can't do anything right besides their NHL games and even that isn't a guarantee; gotta love inconsistency.

dude you gotta get a xbox 360 or ps3 and get the next-gen version. its awesome! and by the looks of it, NHL 09 looks like it'll be even better

Eh, I only run PC sports games because of the custom modding/patching I make/download for rosters and gameplay.

I would LOVE to play NBA 2K8 on the PS3.

Mind you, NBA 2K7 had its stupid bugs, like the CPU dribbling the ball out instead of going for the final shot. Making layups is still an issue in 2K8, even in the new-generation consoles. Live 08 had the problems with several Live 07 features removed and player ratings being not updated from the previous year.

NBA 2K9 no doubt will be my possession on a next-gen console. Will rent out Live 09 as well.

As for the NHL games... I haven't had a feel for NHL games on any consoles since NHL 2003.

I was exactly like you before. I would play NHL on the pc because of it's large community and custom modding.

But once 08 came out on xbox I just had to buy a console even if it's just for that game because it was totally worth it. Who cares bout customization when you got a near perfect game already?

nhl 2k9 is for the wii...that should be interesting.

Live is a joke, it has been from the very start.

NBA 2k issues, you can live with, Live's shortcomings are not unless you're a blind fanboy (read Madden), or want to play an updated version of Nba Jam with a full complement of players. Ea's PC division released crap as if it was still 2001. I'm glad they're dropping PC support completely.

Regardless I try to play a game using my hockey sense from years of playing it, do you wanna do a seven game series, we don't have to do all in one day.
