Well, I weight about 120; sometimes it becomes 117 oddly.
I want to be 103 again D: This past school year, I gained so much.
And I want to lose it ! SO, SO badly. ohmy.gif
Big thighs, I have a tummy? And so on, haha.
Best way to work out?
I feel like increasing the strength of my lungs by running/walking. (since i have athamas.)
I just dont know, how long each day, how many times a week, etc!
Help Help? please? ):
I wouldn't call myself fat. I just miss being toned. x-x

edit : i'm 5'3" or 5'4" xD

BIG BANG = ♥ (:

Uhh, how tall are you though?
I would just suggest playing sports everyday or maybe swimming since it's summer.
Don't diet and cut meals out though; not getting enough nutritional intake might stunt your growth =x

Well how tall are you? You know you're only 13, so your body is SUPPOSED to put on weight. That way you'll develop.. ermm.. femininely features.
You say you want to get toned.. Well I don't think toned means losing nearly 20 lbs. Being toned also doesn't have a specific weight. There's probably a target region, but that once again depends on your height. sweatingbullets.gif

Geeze, do you want to die?
OK kidding about the dying part but a young one like you don't need to lose weight that much.
120 is still pretty skinny/ideal weight for many kind of height (I'm 5'2 and 120's considered skinny or close to ideal weight).

You're supposed to have some fat on your stomach. Your body is developing fat to protect the baby if you ever have any in the future.
And women need more fat than man and is harder for them to lose fat in their stomach area.

I suggest doing sit ups and push ups or taking up a sport to tone your body healthily.
You don't need to lose any, anyway.

Um, I don't think 103 should be your goal weight since that was probably your weight before you developed breasts and curvy hips. I also recommend that you set up more realistic goals like lose 5 pounds over summer and 15 pounds in 10 months or something. Not that I'm saying you can't do it or anything <.<;; but it doesn't seem like a very healthy thing to do.

But I guess if you really want to... There's actually a ton of workout tutorials that ppl post on this thread. What I did was I joined track during the school year (got a 2 hour workout everyday from that) and played DDR an hour a day over summer. Not to mention I started portioning my meals. I basically went from 116 to 105 pounds from that. I'm only 5 feet btw so it's not stick skinny.

And if your goal really is to shed almost 20 pounds in like 3 months, expect some ugly stretch marks to appear on your thighs and stomach. You can try to prevent them by applying cocoa butter or bio-oil every day but I'm not sure how effective that is. Haha, I can rant on and on about all the downsides of what you're doing but I guess that'll be enough for now.

If you're only 13, then don't worry about it... You're going through puberty, you're supposed to gain weight. It's not healthy to work out too muich before you turn about 16 anyways.

If you want to get toned, don't worry about weight, worry about inches. Eat healthy (READ: eating healthy DOESN'T mean eating little) and you should be fine.

um, how tall are you?
and you don't have to worry about your weight too much. i was about that weight when i was 13 and now i'm 15. i currently weigh the same too. please do not diet and miss meals, but you can eat healthy food.
but losing that much weight before school starts is a bit broad.

ideas to lose weight? there's no need to brainstorm because the answer to losing weight is always the same: regulating diet and exercise. you should already know what needs to be done: cut down meal portions and be more active whether it be cardio sessions, sports, or resistance training.

i would encourage you to reevaluate your situation as well as your goals. why do you want to lose it by the time school starts? it makes it seem as if primary motive is just to look better for other people. what happens when school starts? will the same problem from last year repeat itself? it would be better to be more concerned with your general health as that's a life-long process and commitment, not just something to be worried about during the summer for the next school year.

anyway, my point is to forget all the numbers and all that and focus more on having fun and being healthy. remember, weight doesn't necessarily determine how healthy you are, but fat does.

just diet and exercise.
there is no other way to lose it, unless you get lipo.
or starve yourself.

You're 5"3-5"4 and 120lbs? That's not exactly overweight, but I understand how you feel. I'm 5"5 and 125lb, and just shedding the extra 5lbs is hard.

Might i suggest swimming? It's a fun and great way to lose weight and tone yourself.
Also kickboxing (if available) - you should do it! Totally tones your arms, legs, etc and also burns tons of calories.

Basically, the age old remedy is just to exercise and eat wisely. Skip the junk food and you'll lose the jelly. smile.gif

I think swimming is good. I heard it's good for people with asthma. And it uses all of your body.

Hey, I'm 14 ...and I'm on a 'diet' [if you can call this 'diet'], too....!
But I'm not starving myself or sumthin' like this.
I've just reduced my calorie intake...Now my daily intake is about ~1500-1900.
But I need to burn those bad calories, and I do it by doing sports (:

It's not difficult at all, and look!! I've lost 16lbs already :D [my collar-bone is finally visible again lol..]

You just need to reduce your calorie intake and exercise, cause starving at your/my age isn't good at all.
Our body needs all that stuff, you know (: ?
Ahora vamos por todo
y todos vamos por ellos

just eat 3 (well portioned) meals a day and NO SNACKING IN BETWEEN.

also don't eat 3-4 hours before you sleep.

and if you're desperate, reduce your meal size

works for me smile.gif

do some exercise or you can dance. Dancing helps you loose weight overall since it's cardio and it's also fun. I think you should for 110 lb instead of 103 because when you grow you get heavier so you shouldn't aim for thw weight you used to be

Err, you can always try excercising, BUT if you're too lazy for that... then it's useless of even wanting to lose the weight. Don't starve yourself, your health will be damaged.
I'm currently semi hiatus at the moment due to school.
*still pm me please, although it might take awhile to reply!

you're 13?? youre just growing...
your weight going to fluntuate these few years until you're like 15, 16
it's not you that gain weight, your body need the weight
to grow properly, dont go on weird diet now if you wanna have proper "assets"

i have a friend who gain major weight when she was in 8th grade
same height as you too, but she didnt worry much and just do regular exercise and eating healthy
she IS heavier compare to when she first gain weight, but she look GREAT with all the right curve

swimming makes your shoulders broad. it helps lose weight, but it also makes your shoulders bigger, so keep that in mind.
but like a lot of people said, at that age you're supposed to gain weight. i know at that age, i was at my biggest

HOWEVER
i do recommend the 8 minute abs like someone said above. IT HELPS AND WORKS!
