Has a guy ever come up to you and said you were cute, but calls another girl pretty? Or when a girl calls a guy handsome, but not cute? And then you wonder to yourself, what the hell this all means?Well, I was just thinking the same thing and I ask for your opinion on this. =__= Maybe we can get a pattern going or something.

What are the traits you'd find in a guy who is: (How he looks, acts, personality, smells, etc.)

For me I'd have to say this.
Beautiful - Someone who can take my breath away. She can't look/act dirty and has to be pure.
Cute - Someone that's cute is childish and physical features look like a child.
Pretty - Pretty is a generic. Pretty means that she doesn't have any flaws about her, but there's nothing too special.
Hot - Has sex appeal.
Sexy - Sexy is like hot, but times 10.

This is kind of hard to describe. But I'm going to try my best. Ahaha. So I'm a girl so i'll try to describe these kinds of guys.

Cute - Usually I feel like they have some feminine characteristics in their face. Not in a bad way of course. Cute is also associated with child-like features too.

Hot - Very masculine body and features. I feel that being hot sort of coincides with being sexy but isn't exactly the same. lol.

Sexy - Really attractive. To me sexy isn't as masculine as hot. So a guy with some feminine features can be sexy too. You probably wouldn't mind having a one night stand with them.

Handsome - The kind of guy that's good looking, but doesn't fit into the first three categories. He's obviously a man/manly looking. No boyish features, but not exactly hot either. A decent looking kind of guy, one that you can look at and appreciate, but maybe not salivate over.

Charming - Can include any of the categories above. I think being charming is more of a personality trait than a physical one. It's about how they talk to you and treat you. They just know how to pull you in and get you into their mind and into your mind.

Cute-> more of an "awwww" type of thing. Mostly likely referring to an innocence. eh. it's hard to explain.

Hot-> an overall broadly used term. Good looking and masculine. It's the equivalent of pretty, for girls

Sexy->ok. this is a "i wanna rip your clothes off" kind of attraction.

Handsome-> "perfect". the type of boy you'd bring home to mother

Charming-> you don't have to be THAT goodlooking, but you have the special something that makes girls like you.

Cute - Hm... very innocent/pure/hyper type of a boy. Playful, I guess.
Acts like stereotypical shota pedobait even if not underaged. E_E

Hot - Masculine... almost in the same category as sexy.

Sexy - Sex appeal. Yeheheheh.

Handsome - Structured face, appealing in facial structure. Princely, basically.

Charming - Like T0FUU said, more of a personality trait than a physical one.

hot: manly looking; acts cool; has the effect of making people drool
sexy: alluring?
handsome: clean cut look, decent. [im not sure what i mean by clean cut]
charming: easy to get along with/comfortable with them even if you've just met

An animal equivalent of a cute guy would be a= puppy

Hot is someone who has a hot sense of style and has something (which is hard to put your finger on) attractive about him. the hot guy is sexy, but in a less overt way.
An animal equivalent of a hot guy would be a= cat or a fox

Sexy is a really masculine type of attraction. muscles, deep voice, etc and kinda that something that makes you wanna hold or touch him
An animal equivalent of a sexy guy would be a= wolf

Handsome is like someone who looks smooth and not sleazy.,.clean and classic...but beware, handsome can sometimes equal boring if not handled in the right way.

Charming is usually in the way you act. its like charismatic.

Cute - can be physically attractive or just average looking, the way he acts/ his reactions, shy, kind, considerate
Hot - physically attractive. (lean, muscly arms, very nice face, tall, etc.)
Sexy - physically attractive. (usually the same as hot)
Handsome - physically attractive.
Charming - I don't use this term.

1)Cute: someone who has nice physical features mixed in with an innocent kind of look. Equal balance of both looks and and personality. Bring home to mom type material.
2)Pretty: Above average looks, but her personality is kind of lacking. Has the looks that makes you do a double take.
3)Hot : Has the physical features that every guy dreams of, but nothing more. Referred to as "eye candy."
4)Sexy: Can be defined as hot.
5)Beautiful: Can be defined as cute, but may be a step higher both in looks and personality.

Hot: Good bod, good looking, basically just appealing looks. ;]
Sexy: Someone I should be in bed with.
Handsome: I rarely call guys this, but well-groomed, looks clean. ;D
Charming: Someone who knows what to say at the right time, well-groomed, polite.

Tbh, if I like a guy, I'd USUALLY just call him good-looking, but for jokes, hot/sexy/cute. I really can't see guys as hot or cute if I really really have feelings for them. ;x

Well for me (as a girl):

Cute: attractive baby/pretty face,nice smile, nice style. The type that makes girls smile just thinking about them =P
Hot: very stylish, well styled hair, masculine face, well built and tall physique (the kind that looks nice in fitted clothing =P). Haha the type that makes girls' face heat up just thinking about them =P
Sexy: Umm...honestly I don't rate guys in terms of 'sexiness' but I suppose it depends on their actions and gestures, how they walk and how they talk and respond to females. The type that makes girls want to rip their clothes off (I suppose =S) lol
Handsome: very very very attractive, masculine and unforgettable face. The type that makes girls sigh over.
Charming: how he treats females. It's all about charisma and etiquette! The type that makes girls feel special.
