wow, 1st relationship: sr. year of high school, lasted about three months, was never really THAT into the guy to begin with, horrible breakup, and yea....really really stupid. ugh, what a waste of time.

Hmm...I'm really jealous of people whose first relationships were really special. Even though a lot of people say even if the relationship wasn't great it's still special because it was your "first", I really don't think so in my case

But yeah looking at the bigger picture I reckon I should be grateful....for all the things I learned from the relationship
- Friends can backstab you
- Don't trust anyone
- Most people are so incredibly close-minded
- Most people are extremely judgemental and are quick to form rigid opinions from hearsay
- Some guys just use girls
- Sometimes it's better to form loose acquaintances rather than proper friends
- Staying aloof from everyone is your best bet
- Strength within yourself is the most important thing because there's no way in hell you can find it in others

So even though the first relationship sucked I must say I did learn a lot from it, not so much about the actual relationship though

my first relationship was pretty intense..lasted almost a year! we were pretty much hooked on each other for a long time, but everything changed when one day he mentioned that he felt I was being a bit too clingy. at that point I vamoosed and started hanging out with other people more often which I enjoyed and ended up losing interest in him :/ after I broke up with him he made my good friend at the time turn against me by telling her lies about me and they became good buddies. now I have a better bf, lol

my first relationship would be the one i'm in now. it's only been about two months (knew each other for a year) and i feel like we're doing... okay? nothings really progressed, since we see each other once a week or every two weeks. but we talk every night on the phone and always seem to be laughing since we have so many inside jokes. i just wish we can see each other more...

we've known each other for 9 months, been together for 3 since this is my first relationship, I really want it to be special and for it to last long. We are doing great because we trust and understand each other, give each other space when necessary and dont restrict each other on what we can and can not do. and he always tries to make me happy <3

and I'm still trying to get over him. It's hard, because it's a mutual break up, no dumping involved.
This relationship was extremely special, sweet, and filled with good memories.
But at the same time a total emotional rollercoaster as well, sighs.

From now on I'm avoiding relationships due to how much they take up of my heart.

awkward but i liked him alot. i still do. we went out for almost 2 months. i broke up with him within the first two weeks because i was insecure, we got back together, and then he broke up with me.

now we're still friends, but not as close i guess? aha.

It sounds really fast, but it was pretty serious.
I'm not into the whole "going out just to kill some time" thing.
I prefer to date someone and be able to grow that like feeling into love.
Even now, i'm still learning to let him go.
Even though it was short, it taught me so much about myself and relationships.

My first "real" relationship lasted a bit over a year I think. I was never quite the same after we fell apart.

Mine lasted for 2 years; I felt kinda sorry for him because it was almost a one way relationship. He loved me more than I loved him. I don't even know why I stayed with him for so long.

He was cool at first and he paid a lot of attention to me before we confessed to each other. But after that, he changed.

He became more racist (he is not Asian) as well as sexist. On top of that, he will check out other girls and say how they are in front of me.

When it comes to dates, he never took me out. However, he will go out alone with other girls.

It was a stupid relationship. I broke up with him just over a month later. I couldn't stand it anymore.

I didn't really feel the same, I saw him more as a friend, I broke up with him .
I felt so terrible because he was so sweet . But I can't force myself to love him .
