if the water wasn't too deep, i would definitely dive in to save the kid
but.....i'm not that good of a swimmer so a non-swimmer saving a drowning kid..
probably wouldn't do much except add to the problem ^__^

Um, I would probably scream for help cuz I can't swim and have a fear of deep waters, but I think I would go in or get something for him to hold onto to help keep him afloat/alive till someone comes.
Not really sure what I would do in such a situation since I haven't experienced it....

I would throw a floatation object at the kid to hold onto and then get help.

jump in the water
prolly drown with the kid since i cant swim
before i do
i prolly try all kinds of swimming style to keep floating
until help comes save the kid and me

Not being critical, but if the kid was a size I could handle, yes, of course, I'd save him. But if he's bigger than me, I think we would both end up drowning >< I'm extremely weak.

I would definitely want to save the kid... if I could swim myself that is lol. =_=;; No good having two people dead, am I right?
But if the kid was drowning in water that's less than 4ft high then I'd go for it and try to save him.
Otherwise I would just call for help, 911, scream like crazy, or get a long pole for him to grab onto.
If they're drowning in the ocean then sorry I can't really do much... x_x

i think my maternal instincts would kick in and i would go and jump on the pool (even though i can't swim) and "try" to save the kid. usually, i think before i act but knowing myself, i'd go and save the kid without second thoughts

but i can't swim...

i would probably be the kid drowning.

but on the other hand, since i can't swim to save my life, i would probably call 911 and watch on the sidelines. :/

but then someone would have to save me, cause one time i swam faaaaaaaaaaar out in a lake, but was too tired to swim back, so i floated about for a bit, then that got tiring too, so i took a break and let myself sink under for a bit, then i probably drowned a bit cause i dont remember how i got back up
