but.....i'm not that good of a swimmer so a non-swimmer saving a drowning kid..
probably wouldn't do much except add to the problem ^__^

Not really sure what I would do in such a situation since I haven't experienced it....

jump in the water
prolly drown with the kid since i cant swim
before i do
i prolly try all kinds of swimming style to keep floating
until help comes save the kid and me

But if the kid was drowning in water that's less than 4ft high then I'd go for it and try to save him.
Otherwise I would just call for help, 911, scream like crazy, or get a long pole for him to grab onto.
If they're drowning in the ocean then sorry I can't really do much... x_x

While I'm trying to help him, I'll scream for help,
Because seriously, there should be some sort of adult around or neughbours that would hear the screams.

but i can't swim...

but then someone would have to save me, cause one time i swam faaaaaaaaaaar out in a lake, but was too tired to swim back, so i floated about for a bit, then that got tiring too, so i took a break and let myself sink under for a bit, then i probably drowned a bit cause i dont remember how i got back up
