사생팬 Sasaeng Fans

i got this info from comments under a yunho fancam and found it pretty interesting
i know the sources are questionable, but does anyone have more information on sasaengs? i've never even heard of them ...

SASENS.. are basically higher class fans.. like they know everywhere that their idols go.. they get their info from like..ppl.. they are part of the higher rank in the fan clubs. n has access to the best in concert seats and some get backstage passes. they help out alot with their idols presents, events,n etc. thats prolly one reason why the entertainment companies sometimes likes and favor them..idols are also sometimes rumoured to have favorites among the SASENS..because most r pretty n loyal.

haha higher class fan?? well i read the comments in youtube. One of the girl there made Yoochun, Kibum sound so artificial and shallow. It sound like a movie. Whatever. Fans are fans.

사생 (saseng/sasens) actually means 'life and/or death'
i wasn't sure which word you were talking about so it took me a while to get the word.
사생팬 (saseng/sasens fan) are fans who pretty much stalk them around and invade celebrities' privacy basically. they follow them everywhere. i am sure there are fans who don't follow them everywhere. some people hate them because they are mean and all. but i think there are some who aren't that mean. i don't know much about them.
but i must say, they are really into them.
i personally think that they have no life, but then i guess i can understand them.

hmm...idk if you mean it in korean or japanese but in japanese it means something like degradation... in korean it's like "privacy fans"

and i don't think that sasenghwal (privacy...sasengs) are favored by the artists... i have some Cassiopeia friends who told me before about these sasenghwal fans who they hate so much because they followed TVXQ around, skip school to wait outside their houses and spread rumors like the Taeyeon and Junsu ones...

and then there's also this account on baidu which was said to be an email from a Cassie and this baidu user posted it... and it was posted again on a wordpress account XD i don't like to spread rumors here.... just search for it yourself or pm me if you want to know what happened XD but i take it as rumor coz TVXQ won't do such things in public XD

또, 가장 부러움을 살수있는 게 사생팬입니다.



요즘 동방신기에 대한 루머가 나돌고있습니다.

아는 팬은 알고 모르는 팬은 모르실꺼라고 생각합니다.



저도 친구한테 이것저것 많이 들었는데..

아무리 생각해도 증거도 없고 앞뒤 안맞는 말들이 많습니다.

그래서 친구에게 출처를 물어봤습니다.





그 출처는 " 사생팬 " 이더군요.





그 루머가 사실인지 사실이 아닌지를 판단하는게

단지 사생팬이라는 거에 너무나 어이가없었습니다.



최근 나돌고있는 해체설, 재계약설, 폭력설, 연애설 등등..

당신들이 입밖으로 내민 말들이 다른 팬들에겐 충격을 주고 상처를 주었습니다.



어떤 팬들은 아니라고 울기까지 하더군요.

어떤 근거로 어떤 증거로 그런 얘길 하는지 정말 이해가 안가더군요.



그분이 봤다던데요?, 그분이 들었다고했어요!



그런애기 저도 듣고 봤다고 얘기할수있습니다.

제가 사생팬이아니라는 것때문에 그런 애길 하면 "거짓말하지마, 어딜 속이려들어" 하고 웃습니다.

단지 사생팬이라는 이름을 갖고있는 사람이 했다는 걸로 "진짜 ? 그거 진짜야 ?" 라고 믿어버립니다.



팬이라면 루머와 사실을 구분하는 눈을 키워야 합니다.

이런저런 많은 얘기들이 있습니다. 그중에서 당신이 구분할수있는 얘기가 얼마나됩니까?



저 또한 위 사생팬들이 하는 얘기 모조리 다 믿었습니다.

동방신기가 아닌 사생팬의 얘기를요.

이건 아니지 않습니다.





그리고,



또하고 싶은애기가 있다면 ,

요번 애들이 한국에 왔을때,

역시나 동방근처에는 팬들이 있었죠.

그리고 그런 팬들에게 내뱉은 동방신기의 말들도 엄청난 파문이났죠.



"X발 X아, 비키라고"

"니 이름 얼굴 기억해줄테니까 꺼져 "



아니라고 하기엔 너무 증거가 많은 사건들이기때문에

사실이 아니라고 하기도 사실이라고 하기도 뭐한 말들이죠.





제가거의 중립인 상태이기때문에

동방신기에게도 하고싶은말이있고

그런 얘길 들은 팬들한테 한테도 하고싶은말이 있습니다.





혹시 그거 아세요? 우리나라서처럼 극성팬들이 많은 나라 없다는거

연예인들이 팬들이 중요 하고 감사해야하지만,

한편으로 가장무서운게 팬이라는 거에요. 그 사람의 인지도는 팬이고,

안티라는 이름을 갖고있지만 그사람도 팬이라고 하더라구요.

그런 팬들까지 합하면 연예인 하나를 죽이고 살리는게 팬이더라 생각합니다.





하지만, 우린 너무 극성이라고 생각안합니까?

여기저기 와와 거리면서 몰려다니는 것까지 좋습니다.

누구든 자기가 좋아하는 연예인 가까이서 실제로 보고싶은 마음이 있습니다.



그렇지만 그사람에게 피해는 가지 않게 해야되지 않겠습니까?

잡아땡기도 할퀴고 잡고 놓지 않고 좀더보겠다고 앞길막고

이기적이잖아요. 좋아한다면서 그렇게 그사람에게 상처주고싶으세요.

한발짝 물러서서 볼순없는건가요.



위에서 언급은 안했지만 동방신기 숙소에서 쫒겨났다고 하더군요.

사생팬들이 하도 극성이라서.... 왜 거기서 소리를 지릅니까 ?왜 쓰레기를 버립니까 ?

거기가 동방만 사는 곳입니까 다른 사람은 생각안합니까?



우리 팬으로 예의를 갖으면 안돼요?

아니 인간으로써 예의를 갖추면 안돼요?

왜그러세요... 보고 듣는 제가 다 화가나고 열받습니다.

oh i forgot to add...it's not just sasaengs XD in japan there's also ORIKI's and YARAKASHI's XD Sasengs in japan are called ORIKI... from the phrase ""追っかけに力を入れる人," (okkake ni riki wo ireru hito) which means fans who go overboard to meet the artists in real life (or something XD) and then there's the even more hard core YARAKASHI.... they rip clothes, they bash the girls the artists are paired with, they bad mouth people who hate their favorite artists etc....

interesting. i've never heard of the term before; but I wasn't oblivious to the fact that there are fans who have inside connections to idols' whereabouts/activities.

honestly, I cannot criticize them for their highly obsessive nature since I also benefit from things they do: fancams, fanpictures, leaked stuff, infos, etc.

and if i'm given the chance to be part of their group, I'm not too sure I cant NOT accept the opportunity [knowing my obsessive tendecies ]. sounds quite scary, eh! but just being honest...

LOL i agree with you O_O we do benefit with the things that they do. If it weren't for then, we wouldn't have all fancams on concerts and leaks on goodies XD But then again, that is hurting them right? Not just them, it's hurting the economy too XD

and yes... i also have this hyperness inside and maybe perhaps join them if given the opportunity (again) XD it's quite scary too hahaha XD i admit to being super obsessed at some point YARAKASHI!! (i need to go see a shrink XD0

they're basically like BODYGUARDS to idol stars whenever they're out alone or something, they "protect" the stars from other anti-fans or the really psycho ones LOL
they never touch the stars either, they're just normal people who are really protective of the stars.

oh yea! I definitely know about yarakashi. They're mad people, err..they carry knives and scissors with them, SUPER SCARY! O_O (okay, it's just cause i totally LOVE JE gossip [scandals!] so i keep up with these kind of stuffs ) Jin kicked a yarakashi before, go jin!! XD

LOL This thread reminds me of a Manhwa called "Chocolat". Theres this one page that shows the level of korean fans.



for those that cant read the font: (THIS IS ONLY A BOOK D: JUST FOR LAUGHS ABOUT THIS THREAD!)

Fangirls are categorized in groups.
The first level is the Official fanclub president and officers.
These people can casually walk in to all sorts of events like its their own house.
Theres a lot of power and politics involved as well.



The second level is the Club members.
They have the right to go to all the events and they proudly separate themselves by wearing their uniforms.



The third level is the women in their 20's and 30's.
They are called the "Noona Fans" or "The Ajuma club" who use their age and their professions to get inside.
They also buy expensive gifts. They cant even be compared with the normal fans.



Lastly...The group that is neither this or that- THE NORMAL FANS.
They follow all the TV and Radio broadcasts as well as their idols schedules.
They download phots on the internet. They even attend events where they cant participate..."

I think we all fall under the last category, sadly. But this book is indeed amusing.

Sasens are like basically the top people. Its quite hilarious that there are levels for fans. Hahaha.
