I know a LOT of people who have this problem, where they have red bumps on their legs, arms, armpits etc from Ingrown hairs or Razor Bumps or Chicken Skin?

This is what causes them, and I think the "after" pictures are what Tend skin will do to it.

Since I have this too, I was wondering if anyone has ever used a product called "Tend Skin"
I saw it in a magazine and after doing some research on it I found that they sell it at Sephora for 20-35 dollars.

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtm...ng=Tend%20Skin#

I really hate wearing shorts sometimes because of this - it looks so gross cuz i have so many ToT

(found this pic on google)

So has anyone used it?
How well does it work?
When did you begin to see results?

Witch hazel is easy to find. It should be in every drugstore, near the rubbing alcohol

I've made it before and used it... but I got lazy so I can't say if it really helped much. I think while I used it diligently it was pretty good though

That's a decent price at Sephora's. I'd also like to try to make it myself... Thanks Simply Swt for finding the link!

Most of the time I wax my legs anyways, and I'm starting to wax my underarms. I only shave when I get lazy and that's when I get the ingrown hairs.

Just exfoliate the area and put an acne spot treatment that contains salicylic acid. It's cheaper, and it's basically the same thing.

i bought it for like 15bucks on eBay and it didn't really work on my so-called 'chicken skin'. :|

it works on pimples though, because it really dries out your skin.

My ex used Tend Skin. I can't remember if it worked for him. Probably not since he didn't buy it again after he used it up.

Oh, it STINKS, too. Smells like vinegar.

I might as well have sprayed some smelly water on my skin because tendskin did like nothing at all

I have this and yeah I think it works!
It does help but it smells pretty bad, like rubbing alcohol and vinegar
And the instructions tell you to use it after shaving/waxing/epilating so if you can imagine, it stings like a pinkberry.

are you allowed to wash it off after you use it
or do you let it dry?

hey they changed my word to pinkberry!
ah anyways, I let it dry after I use it ... cause it's not like sticky or anything so I don't bother washing it off. I get mine at this little flip/viet (can't tell which) beauty warehouse for $20 a bottle. It's pretty good cause I looked around on Ebay and stuff and it's like more than $20 excluding shipping. Also, I have those tiny inflamed bumps on my upper arms (I don't think it's ingrown hairs or razor bumps cause I don't shave there) but yeah I used it on those areas and it worked like it smooth the skin out!

I made the homemade version, but I halved the ingredients but the process is the same.

It helps. =)
