Oh wow, these themes are great! Do you have to hack the phone to put these themes on? I want to use the Tocco one, but I'm not really an expert at all that hacking business.

Juny - Here's a front cam pic as requested. I actually just quickly took one of my boots for you, because I don't really want to be posting actual self-cam pics of myself here. The quality of the front cam (it's only VGA) isn't that great as you can see - the colour doesn't come up well, and it's about a 640x480 resolution (I chopped the top off this pic, so it's not the usual resolution), but it's not too bad. ^^



You can compare this to the regular 5MP pics that the back cam takes with some pictures I posted previously on this thread, but I'll post another here for your convenience. =) When taken in good lighting, the colour comes up really well.

it takes a little hacking but its not hard at all u just update ur firmware then u go a drag and drop a few files its simple i can teach u if u want ^^

I just got my LG Viewty yesterdayyy in the mail, and I totally LOVE it. It's perfect! I've had boring phones in the past (last one was the Samsung Blast - and I thought that one was the nicest until this baby came along) and the baby pink color is totally love. Where did you guys buy the skin protectors? Any unique ones than the boring silicone cases? I think I read before of people buying cases off of G-Market.

So, I tried hacking themes on my viewty. making a backup thing?
but now theres a yellow screen and i already closed the applications. now my cell phone is at the repair shop, and the guy said he needed the disk, the installing one and the USB cord to fix it.
problem is, I DON'T WANT HIM TO FIX IT!
but, then i read you can fix it...if you flash it? (bit worried, and sad, seriouslyyy i dont want him to fix it ! )
someone explain that to me? the flash thing.
i just pray pray for the guy to fail fixing my phone T3T

ya its very easy to reflash ur phone u just need to put it into emergency mode and use LG Program To install a new firmware file and the phone will be as good as new ^^

so ya i think if they know what they are doing at the shop u wont get a new phone just the same phone with new firmware installed

i might trade my viewty for a htc fuze but i hear a lot of bad things about that phone

i love my viewty never had a problem with this phone ever

dont give up all hope they might not now how to reflash the phone at all or u might have bricked it to where u cant re flash it and u get a new phone lol

I'm going to be selling all my old phones lying around, and have more than enough to buy a Viewty for the money I'll make back (they're ~170 CDN now which is amazing).

Do any of you have any qualms about the phone in general? Or do any of you wish you hadn't bought the phone and gone with something else?

Well, at first I loved it!
had it for ten months. nothing's wrong with it. dropped it more than 10 times. didnt get scratches, only around the lens. but after dropping it...2-3 more times i got dents on it T_T
But it still works and the dents are hardly noticable if you go up close.
the only problem for me is you might get bored of it and want to get a new phone.
i advise you not to look at other phones to make you tempted to buy a new phone.
i got my phone for 500 dollars T_T... now on ebay i see them for 300-100?! GRR.
back then it was expensive since it was all new..

i shuld have got a cheap phone in the first place.

I have a question about the mms. The LG Viewty I have is not carried by US T-Mobile but I bought it and called tmobile, where they sent me some software through the phone and updated it so I could send/view mms.

The question I have is, when I receive mms, the pictures are super SUPER TINY! Like, maybe 1 inch and its very poor quality. I know the phone takes very good quality pictures but is there anyway that I can receive better quality pictures/videos via mms?

hahah ur just like me i got bored with mine too and i was having issuse with it being a non att phone so i just got the samsung eternity from att for free so far this phone i love it a lot but i miss my viewtys camera T.T

lol true i'm getting so bored of mine, i want a n63/n71 now or a blackberry hahaha.
i had to buy a new battery for mine. the battery is just shocking, hopefully it's not the phone.
the screen protector provided is just too awesome too. i have scratches on my screen and they aren't on the phone weee ;D i better replace my film haha.
