Are There Any Singers' Voices That You Dislike? ...who do you think can/can't sing?

Personally I'm not very fond of BoA's voice although she does have some good songs. I like her for other reasons just not her singing all that much. She makes up for it in other areas. To me, it sounds kind of nasally. I like voices like Taeyeon's or Younha's (can't forget Lee Soo Young). Sometimes it seems like she's straining her voice a bit too much? I don't really like Sohee's voice either. It's a bit too soft and not strong enough. Sometimes it just seems like to my ears that she's speaking more than she's singing. Actually some of the songs out like Tell me and So Hot by the Wonder Girls, don't really have very good vocals imo (except for the rapping -- that I liked) just really catchy beats. I have't heard too many songs that have wow'd me in awhile making me think 'man, that girl/guy can sing!' Just catchy beats/music.
Remember this isn't meant to bash or offend, people!
EDIT
Just wanted to clarify because I noticed some questions directed at this topic while skimming through some of the posts. The topic is about voices that you DISLIKE even if they may be great singers that doesn't necessarily mean you like their voice. It can be too deep, too high, too etc. for you. You know what I mean? Beyonce has a great singing voice, but I don't like the way it sounds. Mariah Carey also has a good singing voice, but I dislike the way it sounds, too (especially when she hits those high notes). It's also about those who you think CAN and CANNOT sing in your opinion. I can't really make it much clearer than that.
If somebody thinks they're a hedgehog, presumably you just give 'em a mirror and a few pictures of hedgehogs and tell them to sort it out for themselves.
It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

Boa - I think she's actually has good technique, but that's also part of the reason her voice bothers me a little. It sounds too manufactured.
Rain - Not vocally strong enough
Sohee - cute girl...but yikes...
Hyori - same as above
and any guy who has a voice that sounds too "cutesy" or nasally

BoA - back in the days, her voice was stronger. But seeing how her songs make her strain her vocals often by trying to hit high notes,
I think it kind of made her sound nasally.
Sohee- I can't really stand her voice. I mean it probably has the potential to get better. But I think its the lack of training (I think her training years were not that long?) and growth.
Yoochun from DBSK- Ok I admit he got better over the years. But something just doesn't click with me when I hear his singing voice.
It doesn't wow me like how it does with Jae Joong and Junsu. Well Jae, sometimes i have my days im alright with his voice.
Changmin from DBSK- I liked his voice but now that I think about it, he doesn't fit in my 'I like his/her voice' criteria.
He is like BoA, the songs make him sing high notes and it actually strains his vocals and it just doesn't turn pretty.
Chaeyeon- I admit, I like her songs but if I were to be asked if she has a good voice, then not really. Her voice sounds a bit too generic?
Kim Jong Wook- I liked his only you song. Seriously but thats about it with him. His voice is too soft and just doesn't have this soul power that makes the song alive.
And I have many more but it'll have many idol singers so yeah haha.

i really like Taeyeon's and Jessica's (SNSD) voices. so lovely. Taeyeon's voice in "If" blew me away.
can't really think of anymore voices that i dislike. i won't say that i dislike BoA's but i don't like it either. it's in the middle for me.

I knew people were going to say Sohee.
I feel so bad for her, people are always bashing her about her voice.
I personally do not like Sohee's voice either but I wouldnt be so blunt about it.
Everyone sounds good when its the recorded version.
Its the Live performances that count

and i know she's trying her best on live perfs but still..her voice isn't strong enough, yet.
anyway i don't really think the above people were bashing, they were actually saying that she just needs more practice, not just "ugh i hate her voice i can't stand it! .." that is bashing imo
other than soohe on live perfs, sometimes i do think changmin's voice is a bit too sharp, but it only happens when he sings notes that are too high. other than that i like his voice just fine.
oh and ryeowook, he's a good singer yes and a cutie too at that, but i just prefer boys w/ manlier voice?

And I don't like Taeyeon's voice so much either. o__o;; She can hit her notes and has awesome melody but her voice doesn't float my boat. D:
Re-quoting. :)

Most of SNSD: Some of them aren't awful, but they're not "great"
Hyori: I don't really consider her a singer but more of an entertainer?
BoA: I love the girl & all but her voice gets pretty nasally. ><
12/13 of the SuJu guys: I think the only voice I actually like in there is Kyuhyun O___O
Rain: Good dancer but not so much of his singing...
4/5 Big Bang guys: I'm not to fond of their singing either >.> I think it's Taeyang that can actually sing in the group
Changmin: He's like on and off to me. There are times when I love his voice but other times when it's like whatever. >.> same thing with Yunho & Yoochun.
WonBin from F.T. Island: I think he should just stay as the guitarist in the group. :X & there's something about HongKi's voice I like but at the same time don't ....
ChaeYeon: same thing with Hyori.
Jang Ri In: I think she has a nice voice but her live performances aren't all that great.

Everyone sounds good when its the recorded version.
Its the Live performances that count
- Jang Ri In -- sounds good in recording, but her live is..
- Boa -- she's been up and down on my list. lol. Her voice was so nasally when she first came out, now I feel it's okay and her live isn't too bad, but it still doesn't beat a voice like Kim JiEun or Younha.
- Heechul & some other members of Suju -- Love Heechul lots, but he's not the best singer. He has gotten better over the years though.
- Chaeyeon -- Love her and I really like some of her songs, but her voice isn't for me.
- some of the Snsd & Wonder Girls members (don't know their names except for Yoobin) - Some are really vocally strong, some aren't and are really overrated. They're all pretty though
- U-know -- only when he's rapping. LOL.
- Bi/Rain -- his voice isn't for me. I feel he dances better than he sings; he has some good songs and dramas though and is constantly improving.
These opinions are based on watching their live performances.

I don't like Taeyeon's voice as well, especially her high notes.

getting a bit more nasally. I noticed it too when she preforms live now.
Maybe she was always nasally, but I guess I just barley realized how nasally she can get.
However when I listen to the mp3 versions of the song, its hard to tell.
Im not a fan of weak vocals in groups as well, such as Sohee, Yoochun, Yunho, Hyun Joong, and sometimes
Gyuri [KARA] since she really cant reach high notes.
I dont like Rain's voice as well, its too deep, and their is just this monotonous vibe I get
out of it whenever I listen to his songs.
Oh yeah, and G-dragon from Big Bang. I really dislike his voice because, whenever I listen
to With U, I can hear his voice throughout the whole song. Its very..high pitched? Maybe its
his English.

& sometimes Jessica. Her voice can get really nasally.
Oh and Yunho from DBSK lol.
Everyone knows that Sohee can't sing well so yeah.
Hopefully she's working on it. :S

Yoochun : Really? Because I think his voice sounds worse in more recent songs. I love the kid more than anything, but I feel like he's lost a lot of control with his voice, and because of that, even when he's singing the most basic notes that are perfectly in his range, he still reverts straight to the nose. I think his best time was Rising Sun, and he strayed since then. And it's so upsetting, because if someone just stepped in and pushed his stomach a few times, he'd get it and it'd be over, ya know?
As far as Changmin goes, I felt the same way about him when I first started listening to DBSK. I thought his voice was the least appealing of the group, waay too scratchy, especially in high notes, for me. But now, It's grown on me. A lot. I feel like Changmin is a secret weapon that people don't really find out about until they get hardcore with DBSK. And then when you watch clips like 535 covering Rising Sun, you realize how needed he really, really is. Technically, he's actually pretty good. It's just his tone that's strange, but I'm kinda soft for it now.
Now we come to BoA and Jang Ri In. Admittedly, if I was not a stupid little 12-year-old when BoA started coming out, I would not be a fan of her today. At all. But at the time, I didn't realize how very little control of her voice she has, which is a complete shame, because she's a born star. I do agree, however, that it's mostly post-Girls on Top that her vocals are going down - her voice can't go so broad anymore, because she killed herself belting. If she can learn to control high notes, she's good. The reason I mention Ri In in the same paragraph as BoA is that I totally see her doing the same exact thing to herself in three years. Her tone is awesome, and I loooveee her. But, she's already having some trouble with the higher belting, like BoA is now.
I feel like that's the main problem with these SM artists. Learning how to control belting. Maybe it's time for some new vocal coaches.
edit: Okay, I forgot to plug my Yunho, as I make this post even more solidly DBSK. Yunho, I feel, out of all the members, is a dancer who sings rather than a singer who dances, and because of that, his voice is not as top as the others. (well, as top as Jae and Junsu.

Changmin -> This boy has talent but I think he forces himself too hard when it comes to the higher notes. I mean; how can he sing that high???? He's not soprano or anything! In Kiss Sh!ta Mama Sayonara where he goes really high -> I can't even go THAT high (okay; I can but with difficulty) and I'm a girl!
BoA -> I realised some people were saying she's nasally etc. etc. Yeah; like in Be With You the 'sakura' part at the start absolutely ruined everything...

hmm,i agree with the one who said Jang Ri In growls a bit too much.LOL.
and i seriously dislike girls with voices that is deep,if not worse,rough.Eg.SeeYa and Gummy.and Yoobin but only when she talks, her rapping is awesome.
i dont like TOP's voice sometimes,too gruffly.
i actually like Sohee's voice.cos i think this post is talking about voices, not singing skills? Yes she seriously cant sing but her voice sounds nice and cute, esp in Your're Out.

Changmin absolutely pushes himself. But, I don't think the results are nearly as bad as people make them out to be. Any guy who can deliver those notes in Rising Sun live is instantly the most awesome person ever. There are so few male artists who have the right techicalities to pull that off, even recorded. He's a mastery in the making, I swear. I still maintain, however, that he'd sound fabulous in an Arabic song. He's got the style for it. (I think I'm the first person in history to ever say that. hahaha.)
See, I think BoA's got this problem because she's trying too hard. She tries too hard to push those notes out, she's just tired. Even when you look at Girls on Top and then the Chinese Girls on Top, the Chinese is so lackluster in comparison to the Korean, it's unbearable. And it's not because she can't do it - it's because she's working it too hard. The Chinese version sounds like she's been in the studio for five hours, and they decided to get this on the schedule while they had her. Know what I mean? Listen to the two of them and compare the power levels.

Jessica from SNSD has a sweet voice & great control, but it lacks emotion. her singing sounds like solid notes with no dept.
Tiffany from SNSD had a cute voice but it lacks control & range. she can't hit the high nor the low notes. very mediocre.
SunYe from WG has a lovely, soothing voice, but it lacks energy and power. she seems to hold back & not belt out.
