I was wondering which headphones you guys prefer/like because I don't know if I bought the "right" one. Thanks

My headphones that came with the iphone broke today so I just bought the Bang & Olufsen EarSet 3 from the Apple Store, but is it really worth it? I can tell that the B&O headphones are way better than the regular iphone ones, but the price difference is ... a lot

Our ear's preference in "sound quality" varies from one person to the next. Some people prefer lots of bass while others prefer higher highs or stronger mids.
Without a doubt the ones you purchased will be able to produce nicer sounds but its all a matter of preference and budget. I think a lot of people start with the basic ones then buy an upgrade, then buy another upgrade... and slowly work their way up to like the custom molded ultimate ears headphones when that happens, the ipods will not produce good enough sound quality to tell anymore so they need to find a new player... and and
With that said, I use $50 earbuds that cost me $25 and I think they sound wonderful. Its a personal preference to have in ear headphones over like the ipod style one where it sits further out. I like how it blocks out most of the sounds around me so it was all worth it.

^^ Or they buy a $200-300 amp for their portable rig! haha
Koss KSC75 ($20)
Grado SR-60 ($70)
are great, inexpensive "entry level" headphones
I recently bought the SR-60s...blown away.
I can't listen to them outside though, cause of the sound leakage, but they are perfect for when I'm at home (didn't wanna spend too much!).
I'm probably going to buy ATH-ES7 since it has decent sound and killer looks for portable use.
