How Can You Start Using Tampons? @.@

I want to start wearing them so I don't have to worry about the discomfort pads bring, but whenever I try, it doesn't...go in. Sometimes it just feels too weird and I change my mind, sometimes it just doesn't work for me. Is it because I'm too tense or is there something wrong with me? >__<;;

Well it did for me. Cus I was in 5th grade.
It probably will hurt cus its a foreign object.
Thats how some people "pop their cherry"
because it's a foreign object entering you.
Do you know how to use it?
Or what do you need to know?

I tried but it never works...it just doesn't go in
And I followed all the instructions that came with the tampons but to no avail
I went through like 10 and eventually gave up =(

The first time I ever tried, my hands were too shaky and I couldn't do it.
But the first time I got it in, I just inserted it in at a 45 degree angle,
cause I heard from other people that you were supposed to put it in at the angle.
It doesn't hurt if you put it in right.

(because i started off trying with the tiny applicator-less ones, nOt a good idea
but i tried one more time with-applicator, and it slid right in
all you gotta do is take it slow, and reLAX a LOT!
and id suggest using a smaller one for firsts ;]

yeah. my friend kindof forced me too last summer. we were going to the pool & stuff.
after a few times, u'll get used to it. but it felt awkward for me & my mom doesnt like me using them so i stopped.
get the less absorbent ones. never leave it there for more than 5/8 hrs.

Honestly I don't understand why some people are worried about their hymen breaking. You're bleeding already, who cares. If it's based on your religious beliefs than I can respect that.
And using it after you lose your virginity, doesn't matter. Sex ED taught me that it does not keep you "stretched" permanently, sorta like a rubber band.

Yeah you're right, it hurts a lot at first ><
Well, for me it did at least... Even to this day, I can only use plastic applicators.
Cardboard ones hurt soo much.

or at least thats what i've heard
for me i stand up and squat a little to put it in
& at a 45 degree angle
for the first time you should use the plastic applicators

That's what I did. :x
Hah. I was surprised when it just... went it smoothly. XD
Anyway, I suggest using the new Playtex slender (they come in a box with light and regular/blue and yellow ones).
And make sure you're aiming for the correct... um. Orifice.

if you're that worried, use a slim / light one.
try inserting at the angle, I couldn't get it in for days because I was basically trying to shove it in vertically
push it in while moving from left to right. does that make sense

Word that. && I always put my leg up on the toliet seat
it really helps. You also have to not be tense.
