What To Add To Oatmeal? Because plain oatmeal is bland and boring

As part of my fitness routine, I'm trying to eat healthier food that'll also curb my appetite so oatmeal is a definite must. The only problem is I want to enjoy eating it or else I'll probably stop eating it altogether. crazy.gif So what are some things I can add to oatmeal that will make it taste better? I'm more a sweet lover but I'll be open to savory if it's flavorful and still healthy.

So far this is all I can do with the limited kitchen supplies
-Cinnamon and sugar which is getting very boring
-Applesauce which I'm very disgusted by after eating for so long tongue2.gif

I've also tried the oatmeal packets that are already flavored like brown sugar maple, but I think those are a waste of money since I can just get a giant tub of rolled oats and add ingredients myself. So what do you people put in your oatmeal to make it taste better?

yogurt, fresh fruits, granola pieces, maple syrup etc. Oatmeal is a blank canvas so you can put anything on it.

For me, I sometimes put in brown sugar cubes, eggs (sunny side up), and cinnamon. Eggs taste good with oatmeal but I'm getting sick of oatmeal since my mom used to make for breakfast every single day.

uhh, I just add a tiny bit of brown sugar... maybe fresh fruit and berries if I feel like it
The whole point of eating oatmeal for me is to eat healthy, so putting in anything else is moot point...

OMG! That sounds incredible!!!!!! But condensed milk = pure fat. =((

If you're doing it as part of some kind of diet plan, I recommend putting in fresh or dried fruits (preferably without any added sugar) and Splenda (and not whole sugar)...

add scoops of yogurt (strawberry, vanilla, lemon... mm this is my favorite)
add honey and raisins (just like oatmeal raisin cookies!)
add Nesquick (for days I crave chocolate!)
add banana and peanut butter (funky monkey lol)

i love my oatmeals with peanut butter, biggrin.gif i'm not sure if that's the healthiest diet choice, but putting some fat into a diet is also essential for a healthy diet. have you tried those nature valley granola bars? they're pretty good ^^ a little pricey, but one packet with 2 bars contain as little as 180 calories and they are YUMMY as hell! I always have one after a work-out XD, and my energy level is immediately replenished XD!!

i like eating oatmeal with milk n fruits like berries,apples,bananas n etc...i also love adding some nuts into it....they taste so nice...

a little butter

milk to make it thinner and creamy

some pure maple syrup or honey

some strawberry jam would also help improve the flavor
