e.g Running? is this good or bad? because some people say muscles will appear which is bad xD but i ono.. other than running and skipping are there any EASY, SIMPLE actions we can do to prevent thigh/leg fat =P and also how to tone your arms? (the upper part of them) =P hehe.. its holidays soon.. got time to do some things ^^

I make my girl friends squat at the squat rack if they decide to join me at the gym. I've noticed fast results, but they also run regularly. For the arms, try the tricep extension and the bicep curl. Higher repetitions + lighter weights = muscle toning; lower repetitions + heavier weights = muscle growth.

From what I've seen, it's a lot harder for girls to gain muscle mass than guys. Unless you take supplements, you usually just get toned.

I would avvoid running though..leg muscles are ugly, especially if you plan to wear skirts, shorts etc.
Im prob in same situation as you..
Im just too lazy though to do anything about it
Just hoping and wishing there is an easier way that doesnt include surgery...xD

If your thighs are pretty chubby then running for 3 months
can't result even a tiny muscle popping out. It mostly shows if you're
one of those people with slim thighs and runs, then it starts appearing.

Yeah, I'm afraid if I run too much, my calves will turn into pure muscle. dry.gif

So what's a good schedule for running? Once a week? Twice a week? Every other day? Every day?
I'm hoping to shed off 5 pounds in the summer when I get back home. (:

And the arm flab ph34r.gif Any easy solution to get rid of that?

I would say every other day if you're an intense runner, everyday if it's anything less than a mile.

As for arm exercises, I would suggest the tricep extension. Remember to not exercise the same muscle group everyday; that could lead to an injury.

Run stairs.

I started running stairs everyday and it helped tone my thighs and legs.

^^ doesnt that build bigger muscles?

well for me, since i go to the gym,
i usually run/fast walking (0 incline, speed of 4-5) for about 30 mins,
then eliptical for another 30 mins (incline: 10, resistance: 5 -- best for butt n thighs)
then do some leg works such as: hip adductor and abductor, leg press, leg curls..etc..

be sure to stretch out after ur work out session to avoid building big muscles

i've been doing that for about 2-3 months and i notice that my inner thighs have toned up

For your legs, either run or jump rope. if you're scared about developing large(er) muscles, just tone down on the exercise.

Your arms however, some push ups everyday won't hurt. or lifting weights with dumbells.
good luck (:
