hi there people. thank you for taking ur time to help me :] i really appreciate it

i have a olympus stylus 710. 7.1 megapixel
i purchased it about a year and 10 months ago

well, i just dropped my camera less than an hour ago from my bed to the floor by accident (i'd say about a foot and a half)
and now it will not turn on AT ALL.there is no response when i press the on/off button whatsoever
NOTE:this is like only the SECOND time the camera's been dropped onto the ground
there are little scratches here and there. but only a couple. in very good condition
it was working perfectly fine earlier tonite

i tried to take out the battery and put it back in (like 10 times)
i tried to take out the memroy card and put it back in
i cleaned the battery
the battery is not dead and nor is it out of power
AND IT WILL NOT TURN ON AT ALL

i was wandering if you guys know what could be wrong
and if i should take it to the repair shop or soomething

THANKSABUNCH:]

Even if it's off and a short drop, it's quite possible you dropped it 'just right' and somethings loose or broken now.

You might try calling the customer support/tech support line for Olympus but if it's broken, you might be looking at a new camera (digicams tend to cost a lot to fix...).
