It's been about 20 hours...but I still feel...umm...nauseous. Like...if I even watch someone take a shot of something, I gag and throw up x.x I can't tell if it's a side effect of drinking, or just a mental thing? I want it to go away...since I'm working at a nail salon and the smell of nail polish makes me think of vodka @___@ And I puke >.< Help? =/

Drink lots of water and take a pill or two of Tylenol. You should be ok by next morning.

Everyone else already suggested what I do normally. Take Tylenol and drink water to flush it out of your system.
I get really bad hangovers too; they last FOREVER. But I try to sleep it away. Hope that helps.

it's called a HANGOVER. if you drink that much, prepare to suffer the consequences.

is that really necessary? the original poster asked for advice, not for snide remarks.
anyway to ~koe*no*sainou~, like the other people above suggested, drink lots of water to flush your system and other liquid substances to help the nausea(for me, coffee helps a lot because of it's strong taste which overtakes any remaining alcohol traces i taste/smell)

And just a quick question if anyone could answer... don't really want to start a whole new thread on it, but can you get nosebleeds from drinking too much?

when you drink irresponsibly like that, sure, you should prepare for such remarks.

But anyway. If you drink a lot, you will get drunk, and there is a big possibility of getting a hangover. If you drink a lot of alcohol without drinking water, you'll get dehydrated. If you want to avoid a hangover, drink lots of liquids and drink on a full stomach. Take a vitamin pill before you go to sleep. And drink a lot of water and maybe vitamin c supplements when you wake up in the morning (like Emergen-C).
How fast you "sober up" depends on your weight and your body fat and just how fast your body processes the alcohol in your body.

what your feeling is called being "hung over".
a lot of people have temporary (sometimes permanent) aversion to a type of alcohol after they've gotten sick from it

drink as much water as you can and get some rest.
as for the nausea you get from thinkin of alcohol, that's all in your head.
don't worry. you get used to it
