Who ever created the name for this game needs to be shot lol
When I looked at the title 'Manga Fighter' I thought, "Hmm.....It must be a fighting game". When I look further into this game I was tricked.

Well it turns out to be a fantasy shooting mmo game with shojo, shonen/dojinshi characters (humans, animals, and aliens lol) and environment.
However, don't get it twisted by my description of Manga Fighter being a kiddie game. Coming from the company that brought u Flyff; they take the same cuddly-fantasy-that-teens-could-play approach and it works like a charm. But despite the cuteness, the game play didn't translate successfully like the tone. At first, The game is fun (yes FUN) and can keep you occupied for a couple of hours thanks to the option to choose different characters with different abilities in each match and the utterly surprising but gimmicky skill card (When will the card trend end?). Once u log out and log on the next day the game flaws will come at you like mosquitoes in the summer time. One its drawback is the variety of weapons and clothing. Its weird to me that they would have variety in the cards but very little variety in weapon ability and aparell (its either apple or oranges).

The camera angle for this game can be your enemy at times, especially when your opponent is right in your face. If the camera was pulled out a bit more then it would help the vision of the players and lessen the shot from behind, above, and at both 90 degree angles.

Another thing that hurts the game are the 'limited' maps. With Manga Fighter, all these characteristics for a map such as depth, length, detail, obstacles, and variety comes up short of meeting the standards of today's shooters. The feeling of claustrophobia every time you play in these seven boxy maps (that's right, only 7 maps and people will only play 4) will have u frustrated at times and wishing that u can roam around in a open world. And one more thing, you have music in the lobby but no music during the in-game play? Thank goodness for Itunes and Windows Media SMH.

I give Manga Fighter a 3.25/5 cause the idea of a cute-fantasy 3rd person shooter is possible and its very reminiscent of donkey kong 64, the mario series, and etc. The only problem is that it didn't execute like it should and that it lacks depth, functionality, and replay value. If your looking for a quick fix or alternative then try it but don't expect this to keep you satisfied for the long haul.

lol at the armed bear.
I give it F out of 5 for being too cute + poor graphics for a shooter.

I'd rather netplay some touhou than this.
