I had really bad panic attacks every day for a month a few years ago. I think they are really similar to anxiety attacks. I started having them because I was so stressed out.
However, I was able to conquer them myself by: doing deep breathing exercises, praying (I'm not religious but it helped to mediate), talking to my mom, and sticking to a schedule at home so I wouldn't freak out about anything unexpected happening.
The best thing to do is disconnect the TRIGGER from the ATTACKS. You can definitely prevent the attacks once you recognize the triggers.
What triggers you to have your attacks?
What physical symptoms do you feel before you have one?
My face would get really hot and my heart would start racing if I was about to have one. Once I was able to realize that was the beginning of one, I could do something (listed above) to trick my brain so I'd get distracted and wouldn't have one.
Good luck <3

ive had anxiety for little over a year.
i dont know if this is simaler to your condition but my "symptons" are
that i cant be in large groups of people, like church or school,
i would feel like i couldnt breathe and would get these "rushes" of fear, like my heart would race and id get really flustered.
i dont know how to explain it, erm i would have issues eating in public and swallowing
it is extremely scary and embarressing to have a panic attack=(
what i do to disconnect is i tell myself, "NO this is my body and i control my emotions ect.."
my counsler i had at the time told me to do that..
i pray, i focus on God[[works the best for me=)]]
Face your "triggers" of anxiety, tell your body not to panic
i really hoped i helped, anxiety is somthing im still dealing with but i hope
these tips can help, Sorrry if this was long =) i hope you get better with this=)

I have social anxiety, and often panic when in social situations.
I'm scared of parties and meeting new people... and I'm scared of greetings especially. I hate telling people "Good morning" and "Hello" when I walk into work or someone's home.
It might be different than yours.
But I've still got it, and don't do anything other than to suck it up or try to avoid being in social situations.

Panic attack does not really harm you physically, panic attacks will affect you psychologically. These attacks usually come and go and are the response of the body to a threat, which may be real or not.The person who suffer from this condition may feel their heart pounding in their chest and have trouble breathing, making them feel like they are going to die.
I have read this in Kick Panic Away and this help me in overcoming panic attack.Hope you will also feel good after reading this book.
