so i just got the lg venus
& wtf okay i downloaded the drivers, the vmusic program... and connected my phone
and yay, okay, it worked well for like an hour
and then i unplugged it
and plugged it back in
and now EVERY FRICKN TIME ... it keeps saying connection failure, i've been doing it continiously FOREVER and its annoying me really badly any help?

Did you disconnect it WHILE it was in the middle of anything? That could have corrupted your phone...

Try reinstalling your drivers or reset your phone.. or better yet, take the smartcard/battery out for a few minutes. Put it back and try it again.

just use an SD card reader... they sell it for 10 bucks at verizon or at an electronics store... i went through 4-6 hours of phone support and forum surfing... in the end i called LG and they said their phones ARE NOT compatible with windows vista... if it doesn't work anymore it probably won't work in the future... freaking verizon pisses me off, why would they advertise that it comes with the vcast disc if it won't work for LG on vista... oh yeah... with the card reader you can put your pics onto the mem card and transfer it onto your comp without having to go through pix place ... hope i've helped
