do u think fat peeps should pay more money for same clothes ??

think about larger size needs more material... it should cost more to buy than small size.

i think clothing companies charges us all the same price (price for large sizes)... so us thin peeps are being ripped off !!!

dont u also feel cheated that we are paying for fat people ??

i wish small people like me could pay less for small clothing sad.gif

..........I almost feel offended.
Um, that's a very offending question.

But since I'm saying that, most retail items aren't even that expensive (check warehouses)

You're already getting ripped off by shopping at whatever store you're at.

And also, BIG brands don't even make large sizes.

And also, feel that this is a controversial or pointless topic lol.

UNLESS I GUESS A LOT OF PEOPLE AGREE WITH YOU, and I'll just shut up.

edit:

At the same time, I see where you're coming from.
Anyone who buys at a store, (like.. hand-made clothes)
will understand that it's a lot more cost for 2 M of cloth, than 1 M.

At the same time, it's not for us to decide......

i noticed when i buy a western clothing like hilfiger, so many large sizes.

it is hard for us to get small and extra small (i am extra small size).

why should i pay for extra material that is used in a larger size ??

isnt it akward ??!!

Yea, that's a pain.
I forgot which store, got rid of their XS size for .. no apparent reason.
I'm not sure why, maybe it's because westernized people aren't as.. XS in comparison to Asia.

Where do you live?

I highly doubt a couple of bucks would make it that big of a difference between clothes, unless you are counting XS vs XL.

In other cases, I'm not sure this would ever be enforced simply because it'd cause a lot of stress upon a society, in my opinion.

No. It's the company's problem, not yours.
It's not for you to decide.

It's not like the "Fat" people chose to be bigger or whatever.
I'm super thin, but I already feel this question is really offending.
It's like dissing those people.

I don't get you. =___=;;

you're my better half. february 14, 2009.

^ ditto to what they say, since not everyone are model heights of around 6ft maybe they should charge less as well!

Since you're like SOOOOO skinny and think you should spend less money, may i suggest you go buy kids clothes? there you go you save money since companies make like bras and things n mini cooper for kids aged 6 now anyway, and since like SOOOOOO many people wanna be like size 0 n all dat they should be able to fit them right?

Chances are you're buying from a known company who are ripping off third world workers so they'll make money either way, or if it's "ethical treatment of workers" the more material you buy the cheaper by wholesale anyway. Expensive brands like Armani and boutique stuff don't even cater for larger people, maybe we should say they're fat-ist? and since we're prepared to pay such a large amount to pay for Armani, Gucci, Chanel etc i think we shold get more material as well!! and i get like a 2ft long train for every dress i buy from them!

Ah...

but I can see where you're coming from. More material should = more money right? It happens with commissions - the more material and time needed the more you will be charged.

The thought may seem offensive, but when you think about it it is slightly unfair that you pay the same amount for less material. Eg you have to pay $50 for a 10ml perfume while others are able to pay $50 for a 100ml bottle of the exact same perfume from the same store = unfair.

However, making everything different prices would be confusing for the company etc and it's easier (though unfair) to price everything the same.

I don't think they should make the bigger sizes more expensive (because it'll be hard to afford after a while), but make the smaller sizes less expensive instead.

I have nothing against bigger people, but you should be charged for the amount of material used. It's the same with everything - clothes, shoes, makeup, accessories, food etc.

this seems the only person to reply sensibly.
