OMG PLEASE WELCOME ME I AM THE NEW RESIDENT OF THIS THREAD. LOL!

I love Younhaaaaa~ I'm becoming really crazy over this kid. LOL! I first saw her video for "Ima ga daisuki" but I didn't really pay attention to it. I listened to her Japanese songs but well, they're good but I still didn't pay much attention. It was her song "Hyesung" that really caught my attention coz I uh like Shin Hyesung, so here I am backtracking and going through everything I missed! LOL!

As for her second album, I'm actually hoping Younha releases her 2nd Japanese album before she works on her 2nd Korean album. She already has a few Japanese singles waiting to be bundled into a new album. Just hoping it won't just be her Korean songs translated into Japanese. It would be a good place to experiment with punk rock that she mentioned in the pops in seoul Q&A since the Japanese music industry seems to be a bit more diverse when it comes to mainstream music.

In my opinion, Younha was indeed relatively unsuccessful in Japan. I'm hoping that her experiences and success in Korea will translate to a more confident and mature Younha in her next album in both Korea and Japan.

I agree with all of the above. XD I think she needs to move some of her confidence in Korea to her Japanese releases. Remember that she debuted in Japan, when she was only what, 17? 16? Anyways, pretty young and she's older now. And more confident with her style, especially since - like skanke mentions - the Japanese music industry is much more diverse and more accepting of other genres.

Besides, doesn't she have that "Scratch of the Heart" single to be released in Japan? She can add that to her second Japanese album.

And CD Data is the most well-known magazine out of her most recent Japanese magazine features. =/
