well i suggest going to grad school since jobs are kind of crappy with humanities. umm you could work as a teacher? or go into print or broadcast media. there's also marketing and pr work. it just depends on your CV: references and job experience. hope that helps!

it depends on what you want to do. lol
i go to soka, and it's liberal arts degree, so there aren't really majors to choose from
but there are 4 other concentrations (humanities, environmental, social/behavioral, international studies)
most people who choose humanities end up in education field, such as teaching, esl
or research, archiving, accounting, etc...
the skills that you get from getting a liberal arts education can be applied to any job that you want:
* ability to write well in a variety of styles.
* to organize your work and meet tight deadlines.
* to convey meaning precisely.
* to summarize, argue and debate.
* to research, select, analyze, organize and present information.
* to think logically.
even medical =)
err..i hope that somewhat answered your question

I am planning to get a humanities degre and I am using it in order to become a librarian. There are many different type of librarians. You could work in a school, government, perhaps musuem, and much more. Would that help?
Also, if you are thinking of becoming a librarian, there are only 2 graduate schools in California that you can get your library science degree (it is a master degree of course, approximately takes only 2 years to complete): Cal State San Jose (Northern California) and UCLA (Southern California). Trust me, I did research on this.

it really depends on the TYPE of humanities degree you get... as in what major you are. communications, history, anthropology, etc. are all considered humanities, but they offer very different options following graduation. it's definitely not limited to teaching, and a lot of people with humanities degrees go on to graduate school, law school, business school, or directly into the job market. i would say that the job market isn't really great for people with only a bachelor's degree in one of the humanities, but after any type of graduate school the market really opens up.
