1. Q: A doctor gives you 5 pills and tells you to take one pill every half an hour.
How many hours pass until all the pills are taken?
A: You have to take one at the start, after that you only have 4 more pills therefore, 2hours.
2. A: Roosters don't lay eggs.
3. A: All months have at least 28 days.
4. Q: If a is equal to b, then is not a equal to not b?
A: This question is a matter of interpretation, you can read the question as either:
"Isn't a equivalent to 'not b'"?
A: No.
"Is 'not a' equivalent to 'not b'"?
A: Yes.
*This question is therefore stupid.
5. Q: You only have a match when you enter a dark and cold room.
You come across an oil lamp, an oil heater, and a candle. Which do you light first?
A: I'm pretty sure you have to light the match first. Therefore, answer is none of the above.
6. Q: The answer is really big.
A: Elephants are really big.
'Really big' is an answer, supposedly THE answer.
*Up to interpretation again.
7. Q: There are 45 apples. If you pick up 3 apples, how many apples are there?
A: The question is NOT how many apples are left OR how many apples do you have.
Therefore there are still 45 apples.
8. Q: How many 0.5cm slices of breads can you cut from a whole bread that's 25cm long?
A: Go look at a 25cm ruler and see how many times you can divide it in .5cm
*OR "you can't" because then it wouldn't be a 25cm bread anymore.
9. Q: You're 3rd place right now in a race. What place are you in when you pass the person in 2nd place?
A: By running past #2 you are #2, NOT #1, because you did NOT out run #1.
10. A: Most people miss the 'f' in "of"
11. Q: Divide 30 by half and add ten.
A: 30 divided by 1/2 is 60. Add 10, you get 70.
12. Q: There are two clocks of different colors: the red clock is broken and doesn't run at all,
but the blue clock loses one second every 24 hours. Which clock is more accurate?
A: The red clock is accurate 2 times every 24 hours. The blue clock is only accurate once in a blue moon.
13. Q: If a leaf falls to the ground in a forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?
A: Sound is a form of energy, by falling to the ground it is implied that it was situated at a higher elevation before,
therefore it had potential energy, by falling, it converts the potential energy to kinetic energy, and finally when it stops,
the kinetic energy is converted to potential energy again but with some energy lost to sound (and other various things).
14. Q: True or false: French starts with F and ends with E.
A: *Depends how you want to look at the question.
French starts with F but does not end with E
However [and this is probably the "right" answer]
'French' starts with 'F' and 'Ends' starts with 'E'
15. Q: A farmer has 17 sheep, but all of them but 8 die. How many sheep are still standing?
A: The word 'but' is synonymous with 'except'. Answer is 8.
