Joined a gym a couple months ago, and I've mostly stuck to the cardio machines. There are plenty of empty racquetball courts at the gym, but I don't know how to get started. It's just something I've always wanted to learn how to play. I feel stupid playing by myself since I have no idea what I'm doing, and my friends are girly and have no interest in it.
If you play, how did you get started? Anyone or anywhere in Chicago that can give me lessons??

How To Play Racquetball? Lessons?

I first got started when my gym class went to the university to play.
Squash and racquetball was the new unit.
I play a bunch of other racquet sports (tennis, badminton etc.) so Ive always wanted to
try racquetball too
Basically our PE teachers just gave us a basic idea of the rules and let us rally etc..
When i wanted to go more in depth though I just researched for myself =)
Google works wonders haha.
But how i really got started was going to the courts at drop-in times and asking any solo players (or doubles doesnt matter) on the courts if i could play against them or if they could teach me the ropes.
Im sure most ppl would be really friendly and willing to help if you asked.
If there are courts at your gym there are most likely lessons available also
Hope this helped~><
