Avi Converter Vista Compatible why doesn't it work?!

I downloaded the AVI Converter Vista Compatible but when I select files to convert and press "convert now," it doesn't work!
Does anyone know any other AVI converters that will create a resolution of 320 X 240??

Winavi is not free... if you say winavi... might as well say Total Video Converter but SUPER is free and will work just fine. Otherwise you can use pocket divx encoder which is also free and easy.
