if so, would i just have to follow the instructions on the box for the heating time and stuff? i was thinking of using those Pillsbury's Cake Mixes

yah!
my whole family has no idea how to work the oven (in fact once when my mom was cleaning she pressed a button by accident and the kitchen started smoking up O_O)
so this is so helpful! I can't wait to bake ^^

You know the ones with only 2 settings, "Cook" and "Keep Warm" . . . or do you need the modern ones with the microchips?
