Wow I never knew this was possible to do. I wonder who came up with this idea to use a rice cooker to bake. It looks like it works perfectly fine when just seeing the pictures of the foods they were able to create.

idk if anyone said this (and personally, i'm too lazy to check XD)
but custard baked in rice cooker is soooo good.
it has a really neat dome-y shape and the taste is really good.
when my brother baked it, he just used any recipe o-o

Can people take pictures of their rice cookers who have done this? I'm very tempted to bake a cake in my rice cooker but not sure if my rice cooker can bake it.

Thanks! But how many settings are on your rice cooker? I only have two settings, "Cook" and "Warm".

Same settings!

I had to really eyeball it. When it didn't look cooked on the top I just hit cook and waited it to go off again. That's why the bottom is a bit brown ... lol. I think it took me 3 times to do it? It was definitely a lot longer than just putting the darn thing in the oven. sad.gif

That's cool. Since I'm afraid to put anything in our oven.
