^^^ its cuz she got injured and if she kept playing for the korean team, she woulda ruined her career and she was born in america. and korea's speed skate and short track team is phenomonal. it woulda been hard playin for korea.

According to your article she was born in Korea and is a dual citizen. And what does injury has to do with anything?

The obvious reason is that she wasn't good enough to make the Korean team. Good ol' Us of A, stealing our 2nd rate players just be competitive. Haha

Anyway hope Ohno doesn't fake like he did last time. rolleyes.gif

well she skating for the usa because just like michelle kwan who is like chi. she wants to repesent this country.

she says why she wants to skate for the usa on page two.

puhahahah i thought this was soooo funny.

Baver acts like a mother hen on the road. She asks Kim what time she wants to get up and places their room service orders. Once, Kim said she wanted "Tiger cereal" for breakfast.

Baver realized she was referring to Tony the Tiger and said, "Oh, you want Frosted Flakes."

hahahaha. she thought she wanted a real tiger at first hahahahahha.

I was watching NBC news and they said 2006 Turin is bringing America's best overall team since Winter olympics started. I think so too, but I know Korea will do well.

i wonder if people in korea will continue to give ohno death theats..... rolleyes.gif

what he did in the olympics was pure gamesmanship. he had an exagerrated reaction to gain something in his favor. (similar to soccer and falling down just inside the penalty area)

anyways, moving on...it's only short track....

Michelle Kwan pulled out of the US Nationals due to groin injury so now she has to petition for a spot in the Olympics. Gahhhhhhh... I'm going to be so frustrated and disappointed if she doesn't get it. She may not be the favorite for the gold, but in my opinion, I think she deserves that position.

she should definitley in, I think unless she is unable to prove she'll be healthy, there's no way she's not let in. Also considering back in '94 Kwan should've been in the olympics but she got bumped off when nancy kerrigan petitioned after getting her leg whacked.

That being said, there's supposedly some korean or japanese skating sensation whose landed multiple triple axes in competition but can't join the olympics cause she's too young

Her hip is all better now so she thinks she will be fully recovered in time for the Olympics. And if not, she said she will pull out of the Olympics. T__T But I remember that incident in '94... Nancy ended up winning the silver so maybe Michelle can pull off a medal as well ^^ Hopefully gold? teehee
