Sry if this is in the wrong section, but I'm planning to get a part-time job over the summer ( or at least what's left of it) to pay for a road-trip. And I applied at Blockbuster Videos and a local movie theater. I have an interview for the theatres tomorrow and one for Blockbuster on Thurs. I also stated that it was a summer job thing too in my application. Anyway, my question is should I attend both of them - I really just want to work at Blockbuster, in fact I applied for this job the beginning of June. But, it isn't guaranteed I'll get the job so I have the theatres to fall back on.
However, my dilemma is that if I get the job at the theatres and I also get the job at Blockbuster later - how do I just quit before I even start the job? I mean it would look really bad, if I worked two days at the theatres and then quit and work at Blockbuster. Advice much appreciated.

they know you're just temping anyway....if you get both just tell them one of them "hey sorry i already got another offer and i took it because i didnt know whether or not it'd work out with us"
though if the theatre got back to you first, you might have to figure out how to stall.

lol went to the interview today and they gave me the job and since orientation is tomorrow I start tomorrow. I still kinda want to work at Blockbusters since the theatres starts everyone off at min. wage but I get free movies (woohoo) , is it a wise idea to work two jobs because the movies have flexible hours but both locations are 4 miles from my house and in opp. directions

^unless you have school, no. but i'd take both jobs if i were you. o__o;;;; i mean if one of the places is flexible, it's plausible to work both places. just depends on if you want to/if you need the money.

whoa! hard one. i say being it's still summer you should take both jobs. the goal is the road trip, and both jobs will get you to your goal faster. however, please be careful because you may get burnt out. good luck!
