Trying to install Clubbox on Vista and after the setup, I do get this window, http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/2456/clubboxso3.jpg which appears to indicate things went well? But there is no clubbox.exe that I can find to run and I still cannot download any files.

Edit: Good grief I am failing hard today, as I just saw that this should indeed be in the Clubbox subforum. In the hopes of not pissing everybody completely off today, I'm just going to leave my humble post here and let the mods move it as necessary (and/or berate me as I very much deserve).

Thank you for the link! I've done that but it doesn't seem to help. When I go to download a file it hangs up here:

Then after trying for some time, I get this error: before it shuts down completely.

Okay, in order to resolve the problem, I had to log out of my regular user account (which does have Admin privileges but whatever) and log into the "real" Vista Admin account. I again downloaded the Clubbox utility and ran setup, then tried to download a file. It goes to the same point as above, but instead of stalling, a popup prompts for ActiveX control installation, which I did, and viola everything is working fine, even in the user account. The ActiveX prompt never activated when I tried to run this in my user account.

Honestly, I've been having this problem since day 1 with Vista. Programs not working in the User account so you're forced to download them to the Admin account, even though the whole point of Vista developing the user accounts and hiding the real Admin account to keep you from doing exactly that. I don't know, Vista makes me angry. blink.gif
