Needs Video Making Program Help

Hello! ^^
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a program or even give a link to the download for the program that makes videos like amvs and mmvs that are usually posted on Youtube so that i could then convert it to wmv format and uplaod it to Youtube ?? Because I tried with windows movie maker and soon found out that that just can't be converted to wmv and I need a new program to use but i'm at a lose.

Did you publish the movie in movie maker? You need to do that to get a normal WMV file

The Windows Movie Maker that i'm using for some reason does not have that option sleep.gif Thanks though
So i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a different movie making program...
