so i bought the lg shine bar ke770 to replace my stolen phone
a while ago but big problems with sound etc
i've been researching and it seems like its impossible
to change the ascending ringtone *aka it starts off the ringtone barely hearable

also i was wondering if anyone knows if theres a way to change the sms
tone besides the four default. Doesn't seem to be a way but maybe
someone knows how to hack it or something?

im think the bar has same interface features as the slider so any help
would be appreciated

I don't think you can customize SMS ringtones...I know I couldn't with me phone ):

From what I read only the Ku970 can change sms tones.
The 3g version of Lg shine...

i have the lg ke970. i wonder if can watch tv on it. someone told me they could and i dont really belive it. o_O

yes you can watch tv on it - i watch it all the time.
i surf the net on it too.
maybe its depending where your from.
i'm from Melbourne, Australia.. so hmm. i dont know.

now for the topic poster.
yes you can customize your start up tone and sms tone.
you need to transfer the tone that you want into your phone.
using LG phone Manager. (program CD should have came with your phone)
then go into
My Stuff > My Sounds > then scroll down the tone you want, then click options
> Sounds theme > and choose the thing you want to set the tone for.
the list should be as follows.
1. Voice Ringtone
2. Video Ringtone
3. Message Tone
4. Switch On
5. Switch Off

hmm... I have the LG Ke970 (I live in the U.S. - it's an unlocked phone). I installed the CD, but all I got was the LG GSM Sync and the LG InternetCube, both of which I cannot connect to.. the programs say that they cannot detect my phone.. o.O?? as for the Program Manager, I didn't get that on my CD...

help?? >.<;;

^ lol yea i had the exact same problem
bought phone online but cd only came with internet cube and gsm sync
im downloading phone manager to see if it'll work though
just google the manager dl and we'll see what happens

^ aw that sucks. I was all excited about having the option to change my SMS tones, esp the SLIDE tones... they are crap, lol. i mean seriously the sound of a water drop? and my friends tell me the other ones are weird & a little creepy.. hahaha.
