hmmm..... it really depends on the situation and conversation and how comfortable i feel there.
i'm pretty much quiet in both worlds, but if the convo is interesting and I like it, i'll talk more and all that.
but i guess i'm pretty much the same, except that online, i can express myself freely and more openly and gathered my thoughts and have time to do this and that.
plus online, i can find people who like the same thing as me, as where to where i live, not much people like the things i like, for example, Asian music, particularly Korean music mostly.

im like ur friend then. im more talkative, crazy and jst all out on the net but in real life, in public, im actually quite sensible and quiet, reserved etc. at home however is a different story, and also with my friends too. for me i guess its jst if i feel comfortable around them or not. i think im the same person though, jst that in real life its kinda underneath a safety wall.

I'm quiet and serious at work.
There are times when I have nothing to do at work. That's when I come to Soompi and say whatever I feel like saying even if I don't mean it. And this forum is very safe to look at when I'm in the office. Not like other forums that have naughty members like *ahem*AF*ahem*. I have to be extra careful because there are a lot of conservative women in my office.
How do you like my Avatar avatar?

I think I'm a different person.
my best friend says I'm dangerous online LOL, I talk alot and speak my mind
but at school I'm pretty quiet/shy.

I think it just depends on how comfortable I feel.

nahh. I'm too lazy to have two separate personalities but I know a lot of people who are like that and the difference is so vast it scares me. Kind of like that MTV true life episode...

More or less, yeahhhh. I hate being quiet, but it's something that comes to me.
I can say like... my real personality is on the internet though. I have a lot of talents and opinions that are inhibited by my shyness. :|

Lmao. I hate it. They all think I'm some kind of robotic nerdy asian kid with no personality that reads manga all day. Not that manga is bad, I like it, but it really is a smaller portion of the list of hobbies I have. For some reason, they only see MANNGGAANERDD in me. sleep.gif

I'm more talkative on here but not totally different. And I'm less harsh in my words. I'd say....I'm nicer? XD
Normally, I'm a harsh critic but I don't bother online. I'm more apathetic. There's not much change.

I'm still argumentative, stubborn, and hypocritical. XD It's who I am, why change it?

I'm about the same person online and offline smile.gif
I think online I can be a tad bit hyper but that hardly happens.

I'm pretty much the same offline and online. I think.
I don't find a difference in how much I talk. But offline, in real life, I usually would be more willing to say hi to someone I see and know passing by, while online, [if they're also online on AIM] I wouldn't say anything to them because I don't have anything to say.

i'm more comfortable online, not gonna lie.
well first, you dont have to worry about LOOKING awkward to the person youre talking to, and also youre just occupied with other things on the computer that you dont have to worry about being awkward in the first place.

there's boundaries though,
cos there's things you say in person that just dont translate well online.

I think it's easier for me to talk to strangers online.
And it's easier to talk to people you know in person.

I'm more talkative online, I think.
But it's hard to express myself the way I am irl.
It's easier to understand me when you already know me.

But I'm also very, very talkative irl.
It all depends on how well I know you.
Cause I'm that quiet girl too.

But I'm also different depending on the language I'm talking in. I don't know.
I feel like when I speak something other than Eng, I'm kinda different?
Does this happen with everyone?

it's easier to talk online sometimes since its not as direct, as in eye contact and stuff
so when i meet new people, i rather it be online since i can get to know them through chatting or whatever
then be more of myself in real life.
but when im' talking with close friends and people who know me really well, i'm me either way
overall, i act the same in both, but it depends on my mood if i'm talkative or not- on real life/on computer.

I am definitely different in real life. sweatingbullets.gif
Hell, I'm different around everyone. It depends on my mood or the atmoshpere for me to act a certain way.
I'm loud and obnoxious around my family and friends. Shy with strangers. Nice around kids. Joke around with my classmates. Sarcastic on the net. biggrin.gif
And many many more.

Lol, I guess I'm kinda different 'behind computer' and in real life. People always say I talk matured and quite honest when I'm chatting with interent friends and all. But real life friends seems to say that I'm very quiet, shy, and that I can't be honest.
