So i'm moving back to Korea due to some personal/family issues. I just bought a new Civic, and now i need to find a way to get rid of it. I already talked to the dealership and they won't give me much for it. It's all horrible timing i know. Anyways if you guys know of anyone looking for a new car, or would like to take over the title let me know, or PM me. Thanks!

Quick stats on the car:
2008 Honda Civic Coupe EX-L
Listing it at: $24K (OBO)
Official Photos
  • located in San Jose (408)
  • midnight pearl exterior
  • black leather interior
  • in dash GPS navigation
  • auto transmission
  • sunroof
  • brand new (2 months old)
  • has about 1000 miles on it
  • window tints added
  • extra extended warranty
  • upgraded security plan (if car get's stolen you get price of car paid back in full)

How much are you selling it for & where is your location? I know some people who are looking to buy a used Civic. Anyways, I recommend posting it on Facebook & Craiglist.

Yeah, I recommend you putting it on Craigslist. Put a sufficient amount of pictures of the exterior and interior (:

Is $24K the asking price? And this has to be in full?

Sorry to hear bro. Will this move be long term (1+ year)?

Any reason why it is a Canadian model? Did you buy it there?

Yes, $24K is the asking price. I may be open to some kind of payment plan with whomever. OR if the person has decent credit they can easily take over the car payments...with probably much lower interest than mine was. (>.<)

Hey, sorry about your situation man. But I have to be honest, your asking price is way too high for a civic. I went onto the Honda site and priced your car and it barely even touches 24k. (I'm assuming the tax and other fees added resulted in that price) As people say, the moment you drive the car out the lot the price drops like crazy. Also, my GTI costed me OTD $23,700 new.

Oh, I was thinking the "L" on the EX-L was for Canadian models. I'm assuming it is stands for leather or navigation package? My mistake. I think the older Canadian Hondas had the L.

Hey Kuku, did you add leather and navigation? Don't forget his extended warranty. I was going to say the same thing, but I overlooked a few things he listed. However I think joon will have to take a decent hit if he wants to sell his car.

The Honda site doesn't list things like fee's and taxes which adds quite a bit to the final price. I also paid for extended warranty, and additional security/alarm package. Also buying from me would be a lot less hassle, no credit checks, background checks, interest, etc. I'm also willing to look into possible payment plan options with the person. Keep in mind when selling a car you need to price it so you have room to negotiate. But let's not turn this thread into a discussion on this, please and thanks.

Oh, yeah the L stands for Leather. There's two models the EX-L standard and EX-L with Navigation.

you might want to post pictures of your car not something from hondas website. this give the buyer a little sample of what they are looking at. just a simple front, side, back, and interior would help.
