are they at least passing scores like a 3? if it's at least a passing score then they should be okay with it cus you'll still get the same college credit for it anyway.
idk, i got a 2 in ap chem but my mom wasn't too mad cus she already knew i wasn't even doing too well in the class.
just kind of bring it up casually when they are in a good mood

Just tell them you did your best. What else can they expect, you tried your hardest.

My parents knew before I knew my own scores...
So.... yeah haha.
But honestly AP Scores really don't count for much, even in college admissions. All they're really good for is placement (although some colleges do use them in context but w/e)

Not necessarily. It depends on the test you take and the college you go to.
Anyway I would recommend explaining that you did your best in the class and studied hard, even though the results aren't what they might have hoped. Depending on if your score was passing or not passing, it may be easier or harder to do. :/

man i totally know how you feel. i just fail my ap test and well the breaking the news part reeks so bad. my mom told me i was slacking off too much. didnt study enough. didnt try enough. basically a total failure. i suggest tell them you tried and you're not the only one that didnt pass (or have a low grade).

Think about it this way...they won't be mad at your forever. The anger will subside sooner than you think. Trust me, I have asian parents myself and getting two three's on last year's exams did not please them at all. First they were disappointed and quiet for a long while but then they got very angry at the end of the day. By the next day, they were pretty much over it. Not to say they weren't still disappointed, but they weren't mad at me anymore.
Just do well next year to make it up. :]

that's not true :\ (unfortunate)
depending on your major and stuff, you could get... no credit. even if you got a passing score. it all depends on your major and what AP test it was.
Even if you're not taking one of your future major classes, a 3 might not be enough.
Oh, it depends on your school too, so check your college's website and see what kind of credits you can get. if anything, you can get elective credits, I think.
I say don't bring it up unless they ask :]
or if you're feeling apprehensive, just tell them and get it over with. If they get mad, don't worry, they won't be mad for very long.

I agree with the above on don't bring it up unless they ask, lol.
If they do, well... you can't really do anything about it except tell them you misplaced it after being upset by your scores when you tried so hard and studied endlessly because your teachers really failed at teaching the materials anyhow

APs don't matter anyways. They don't help you until after you get into college.
Wouldn't that mean they do matter? o_o;
