There might be another thread about Vassline already, but none of those I saw were up to date. Anw, I'm just into listening their 3 cds these days, and must say it's a kickass band. I haven't been in hardcore/metalcore for a long time but I'm particularly enjoying their music. Any people want to share experiences with me, about fav songs, fav riffs....anything?

I'm also wondering if some of you experienced them live or not? I saw on their Myspace that they are playing next saturday, and as I'm holidaying in Seoul, I'm hesitating on buying a ticket, as it's only 10k Wons!

I havent been "foruming" for a long time so I'm not used to this stuff anymore. If my topic is not at the good place, let me know^^

If I was in Seoul while they were playing I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy a ticket. I've never seen them live since they only perform in their country and I live in the UK.

So far my favourite track is 24hrs and Assassin of Death has probably the best riffs, although it's quite difficult to choose. I just can't get enough of their last album Permanence.

I've gotten into the three records at the same time, adn yeah, Permanences is from far the best of all. The first one is like many first records for many bands, it sounds like a little bit shred, due maybe to the lack of experience and a bad mix overall.

Anyway my fav songs are Assassin of Death, 24hours, Final Downfall, An Ode To My Friend and Memories of One (live). Some kickass riffs everywhere!

10 000 won for a Vassline show? Why are you complaining? Usually it costs a lot more to see them.

Not sure how good they are anymore, as they lost their original guitarist to marriage.

I've been to a lot of shows with them. It's interesting how a fairly humble hardcore band rose through all the mediocre dress-up metal scene to become one of the most respected names in metal in Korea.

Actually I'm not complaining, but I have another appointement happening at the same hour the concert begins...So I'll be damn late to meet my friends^^

They lost one guitarist? Didn't know that. Sorry for them, I just hope their performance will be as good as the several previews I could see on Youtube! I wish they were so much more famous abroad!
