I think for me right now is "Irish" from The Goo Goo Dolls
'And I don't want the world to see me cause I don't think that they understand'
I think its "Iris"
There's lots... one of it is "walking after you" by foo fighters

For classical music, my fave piece is "Canon in D"- Pachelbel
that song makes me want to stab my temples with a fork. ever since i was a kid, i've been hearing it used in car commercials, salad dressing commercials, fabric commercials... to each his own, and it was a great tune to start with so i don't blame people for liking it, but if someone tells me he really likes classical music and that's the only piece he can name, i pretty much write him off immediately.
bjork -- hyperballad. i've been listening to that song for ten years and i never get tired of it. it starts out quiet and it builds up gradually, and then the last half of the song is sheer awesomeness.
i have some distant runners-up (runner-ups?). it's funny, most of the songs i listen to have male vocals but when i was thinking of beautiful songs, everything i came up with was like... tori amos (winter), ayumi hamasaki (surreal), faye wong (undercurrent), another bjork song (a certain version of all is full of love), maybe even an evanescence song or two (i don't know their titles). but in terms of what i listen to most, hyperballad is definitely it.

how can you not love the classics
Hey, Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Hey, Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better.
And any time you feel the pain, hey, Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
Well don't you know that its a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Hey, Jude! Don't let her down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember, to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better.
So let it out and let it in, hey, Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey, Jude,
You'll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder
Hey, Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
esp since it was written for his son ..

(I love the lyrics and well, that remix is imo the best version of the song when it comes to beat)

but I like this old suicidal song called "Gloomy Sunday".
Check out the lyrics. You'll be spooked but can't help noticing how beautiful they are.It gets stuck in my head, even though it's kinda unhealthy.
