Raise your hand to every question they ask. Don't talk. Score perfectly on every exam. Be a very active participant in class. Give them gifts on the holidays. Actually follow their rules.

Yeah, that's about it.

Shouldn't this be in the pre-college forum?

What kind of teachers though?

If it were professors, I'd go to their office hours or start small talk with them before/after class about the subject to show that you're interested.

I wouldn't raise my hand to every question they ask, that's a bit much.
Giving gifts is like sucking up unless you know them really well. I only gave gifts to my french teacher cause she helped sponsor my club and did a whole bunch of other things for us lol

Do well in their class, or at lease try to if you're having difficulties.
Show you actually work for your grade, and not laze around. Participate in class discussions.
Follow their rules, including deadlines.

But this is just high school though. In college, I'm not really sure how it's like mellow.gif

Give him/her a big shiny red apple. If that doesn't work you could always try being a teacher's pet.

Be Polite.
Participate.
Don't have to get good marks but show that you work hard.
Don't go to school dressed like a hoe/hobo.

A way to impress your teacher? Dominate everyone in the class including the teacher... Teach the teacher and correct his mistakes. HAHAHA!

Naaah...
Just be "serious"... That's what most teachers said... I don't know what the heck they exactly mean by "serious students" but be serious... laugh.gif

I guess it'd depend on the teacher.
Some teachers love me and others don't.
Once a teacher told me that she'd love me if I'd just shut up, sit down, and at least pretend to look at her.

depends on the teacher.
when i generally show that i want to learn by going to them after class asking for help or during lunch or wahtever, they seem to like it.
usually my math teachers like me. they're always extremely sweet and yeah.
and i'm always polite, always turn in hw assignemnts on time, and test scores--for oen teacher's class i always got the top score and another, i was so-so but she liekd me a lot for my personality.
i'm sort of a suck up but i don't make it extremely noticeable LOL.
but the thing is i'm really nice to teachers i really like, i mean 'im nice to all but exra nice to my fave teachers. so i'm not really faking niceness or anything lik e that.
oh and i never talk in class, i'm always listeing to their lectures (or secretly falling asleep -__-)
and yeaaap.
just be a good student. haha
who shows genuine interest in the subject and show that you work hard(:

Show them the respect they deserve. (Includes being attentive, being polite, and not being distractive).
Be inquistive.
Don't be arrogant
Always work hard.

And they'll like you.
