I HATE texting. All of my friends love it though. I mean..phones were originally made to talk on. I like calling people more because you can hear their voice and there's more emotion. Texting takes too long, and there's not enough space to fit in a decent convo. Anyone else feel my pain?

I think texting is fun, but sort of pointless.
I mean, what can you text that you can't just call and say?
I especially hate it when someone I know texts me to say, "Hey call me, I need to talk to you."

I'm a texting FIEND but once in awhile there's just too much to say and not enough time to tap it out so I'll make the call ^^

i dont know why. i text cause i dont really talk a lot on the phone so i just text short little messages and when feel i have to make a call, then i use the phone

i LOVE texting!! it's the best! i would rather have text then calling! i'm a fast texter and have that t9 dictionary on my se so it helps..
also it's much easier and convenient to text someone a simple msg like "meet me after school in the foyer" then to have to call them and tell them. in school it's useful cause the hallways are so loud that you can't really hear them... also my reception is bad since they play the radio over the intercom! i also don't like using minutes on short convos that don't mean anything and could all be sent in a text! also sometimes i text when i'm bored and lonely on the train or bus cause i would rather not have people listening on my convos.. it's really awkward if your the only one talking on a silent bus.

Yeah, phone are made for you to talk to&good for emergencies!
Also, textn is easy if you're in trouble(alone at home &robber/kidnap/need help) &can't talk on the phone so text them with short messages.


I think talking scares me. Haha its like you run out of things to say or talk bout

But textn you can talk & say things w/o running out of things to say.

I like textn better I'm not a fan of talking on phones!

Reasons:

1.) I'm a slow texter.
2.) Phone is made for CALLING.
3.) What's the purpose of a phone if you're not going to use it to CALL someone?

Not fond of texting, but I don't like calling either.

It seems like I'll always ALWAYS get pissed off after a call. And I'm the type who wants the conversation to be over within a minute if possible.

That is why I don't use my phone much. It's only there for emergency.

i can talk for hours on it
but texting it, its frustrating at times when people dont fully text what they say but just short cut it, and its pretty hard to understand them like that.

and if i actually have something to discuss with someone, txting takes waaay too long
so i only txt when i have something quick and simple to say and i dont care for a response
