I've been seeing a lot of Flips around (http://www.theflip.com/) and I was wondering what everyone here at the soompi tech section thinks of them. They look really cute and pretty convenient, and the videos that my friends have taken look decent in terms of quality. I don't know about sound, because they made music videos so anything they recorded through the mic wasn't used.

I like how it has minimal features, though- some reviewers were saying how it's "underpowered" and how digital cameras can do the same thing, but it only has one purpose, right? I don't really think anyone uses all the features of those "multi-featured" gadgets.

So does anyone here have one? Like it, hate it? They have three types on their website, I think all of my friends have the colored ones- Flip Ultra? Not sure though.

I'm not quite at the point of considering a purchase yet, I'm still busy congratulating myself for figuring out the darn name ^__^
