if theres even a tiny piece exposed to the surface, itll probably get pushed out
but if its fully completely in
then your skin will just heal itself over it, which ISNT good
i have a bit of pencil lead in my palm thats been stuck there for yrs...
i cant feel it and its really tiny, but i can still see it....

use a needle to try and loosen up the skin and possibly expose the splinter...and then use nice tweezers to pull it out!

Wait a couple of days and see if it'll naturally come out, if not, then just go through the necessary steps to take it out. It'll be worth it!

It will not dissolve. Your cells will just heal around it. I would recommend taking it out and if you can't do it, then go to your personal doctor for his assistance

But like everyone said, just try and take it out. If you leave it in your skin, it'll annoy you to death.

Enzymes in banana peels produce a drawing action that pulls splinters out of your skin. Get some tape, attach a piece of fresh, ripe banana peel-skin-side up, pulp-side down--over the splinter before you go to bed, and leave it on overnight. In the morning, the splinter should be sitting on the surface of your skin so you can pull it out.
Note: If its really deep then you might have to apply another night.
