Amelie! The fabulous destiny of Amelie, in french it's called, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain. It's a great movie, one of my faves.

AMEN!
There's also a recent movie that came out last year or so called The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I haven't seen it yet but it definitely looks fascinating.

Oh and also The Science of Sleep. It's not fully in French because Gael Garcia Bernal and Charlotte Gainsbourg speak accented English with each other but it was still a good film. If you liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, you should definitely check this one out.

I don't know of many French movies, but I loved Amelie also. Another movie the main actress stars in is "He loves me not"(I think?). I loved the look of the movie and the twist in the end : )

I really like the movie Le Mépris (Contempt) because I thought it was really well done and plus it's one of Brigitte Bardot's imfamous movies, and she is one of my favourite classic French actresses.
