ive used it ever since i switched from Johnson&Johnson when i was 6 x]
its done nothing but good for me
the things ppl say about pantene making your scalp itchy, or causing hair to fall out, etc, can happen with ANY type of shampoo, its not the brand's fault, its just different people's hair reacts differently to different products.
so just try it for yourself and use what works best for you, dont listen to that ppl say ^^

I use Pantene all the time but people start noticing my hair was getting lighter(after I dye it) and no it's not a bad thing but the color was uneven and I think it was the cause Pantene, I use Dove now even though it doesn't make my hair shiny and lushes like Pantene it's a change and besides Pantene works great but it only makes my hair like that for 1 day

my sister uses Pantene regularly. She has stronger and thicker hair than I do. hmph sleep.gif

i think only the volumizing one is bad. That was the one I used when I grabbed a big chunk of my hair after I showered.

Nope, I've been using it regularly, and it's done nothing but make my hair look a whole lot healthier than before! It's really soft now too.
I'm currently semi hiatus at the moment due to school.
*still pm me please, although it might take awhile to reply!

lol pantene is the best! it makes your hair really soft when u use both the conditioner & shampoo (: even the classic pantene smells good x) your hair ends up really strong. but be careful of which type of pantene you use. never get the ice shine =x unless you want shinier hair and not dry hair or anything like that.

I don't think it damages your hair, but people react differently to different shampoos. I used Pantene Pro-V and thought it was mediocre as to how healthy/soft it made my hair, but after going through a bottle and a half of it, it started irritating my scalp a lot.

omg really? i thought the ice shine was nice, i bought it, but haven`t used it yet. well i only bought the shampoo cause the straightening shampoo was outta stock =L
well anyways ive switched form tressemme to pantene for a couple months now, results are great, hair is softer and smoother and straighter! [ cause i use the straightening shampoo+conditioner ]
and i also use their other products, no problem with it at all.

^ I switched from Pantene to Tresemme - I used to use the extra straight version and it was good only for a short period of use as it made my hair become oily the next day. Also, my hair started falling out a lot O_O... after changing to Tresemme, the same thing happened after a long period of use. Maybe it's just my hair? Anyway, now I use Sunsilk instead of Pantene and the same thing is happening. I don't think it's only Pantene, but now my hair is dry and dead-looking. I don't know what shampoo to use anymore. >_<

Pantene always made me loose more hair than usual so I stopped using it.

My hair stylist aunt FREAKED out on me when I told her that I use Pantene.
Since my hair is extremely thin, she said that it makes your hair fall out.
I did use it for like a year, I really liked the smell, but now I use
my mom's hair salon shampoo that smells like candy.
