Counselor Change. Writing a letter to you ex-counselor?

Personal experience: A lot of counselors usually stick to the assigned students (in my case it's based on your last name). The really nice ones will help you out regardless if they're supposed to or not, which is what my counselors are like
My school is really small, there's only about 800 or less students. The students and faculty at my school are more buddy buddy rather than student-faculty relationships. Are you in school at this moment or are you writing it to email to her before you start your school year again? If schools already started you can just go into her office (unless you have to be one of her students) and ask her face to face. Uhh.. I'll try to figure out something you can say later ahha
Don't say "It's a shame" It makes it sound like you've lost her forever haha
We can come up with something if you IM me through aim/pm or something.. I'm bored so I have free time
