for elders, will greet them politely.
for friends, will be 'hello' or 'yo'...

Universal: yo, hi, hey, hullo, hello, a wave, a smile, a peace sign (my most common way of greeting my friends)
Elder people or people I never met before: a shy hi or hello, usually accompanied with a small head bow, a shy smile.
