To people I'm more familar with I would say Hey or What's up.

To people I'm not that close to or to family members I'd say Hello or Hi.

Older people (like already a grandma or grandpa): Bow and Smile. >.< I don't know why am I doing that.
Older people: Hello while smiling.
Close people: Hey yo yo yow. <-- sometimes .... hey *smiles* <- always | hi <- always

I usually greet people I don't know with "hellooo" in like a English accent.
I greet my friends with "ay you....you with *whatever they're wear*".

When people at school say hi to me first I usually reply with sup or yo.
If I greet them first it's usually hey or just their name and smiling.

I have this odd habit of like half-bowing to adult strangers or just strangers that I feel nervous around. I keep trying not to but it happens sub-consciously without me realizing until after I do it. I mean it's fine with asian elders but the western people think it's weird.

I make a silly face to acknowledge them. If they walk over to me then I say "hey, how are you?"
