I'm currently using the Sony one. Sound-wise I think it is better than the previous Samsung mp3 player I had (I had the YP-T8) so I'm biased towards the Sony model. The earbuds that come with the Sony player is also superior to anything Samsung will package with any of their products. The Sony player has a unique but user friendly button layout with dedicated buttons for volume. The Samsung one interface is touch based which I really dislike. Looking at the options for both players, the only thing I would prefer about the Samsung is that it takes more types of video files than the Sony one (the Sony one only takes mpeg-4 and you must convert your video files to a smaller size to use).

AND! It's got BLUETOOTH~
I use chunky headphones so it's usually a hassle to pick up a phone while I'm listening to music yeah?
That's where bluetooth comes in~ you can use your mp3 to pick up calls and make calls since it's got a mic.
you can store numbers and dial from ur mp3 as well ^^
i got a vid on youtube of me showing off my samsung ypt10 so if you want you can check that out xD
here's the link.
Samsung YP-T10
haha enjoy

I'm thinking of getting a Sony MP3 as well. I know it has wonderful sound quality.
But I'm wondering, does it have unicode support?
Mmm... It should? Mine shows Korean and Japanese text. I'm not too sure about the newer models out with the updated firmware though (the newer firmware update only allows English to be used as display language -- no idea if that means no Asian text support .___.;; ).

My Nwz can be set in different languages; even Korean and Chinese.
I also have a few Japanese songs and the characters pop up too.
I'm sorry if that's not what you're after
