If you volunteer outside of your club such as a church or a hospital, where would you record the hours? Like, you look after the kids for your church just out of the blue and they let you. But they're not "officially" making it as a volunteer for school.
How would you let the college know when you write your application?

The organization usually record it for you, or you can keep your own records, which is highly recommended whether they record it for you or not. At the end of your volunteering session at that one organization, they will usually provide a letter or something to provide evidence you've commited so and so hours.

yeah there was always a sign in sheet that they (the places i've volunteered) kept records of. in the end of my term, the hospitals always sent mail, while one of the food drive ones i had to take a letter for them to fill out
