So I'm looking to purchase either one of these phones..

As of right now, I'm leaning more towards the Curve, just because it'll save me 100 bucks ($250 with upgrade, $100 rebate).. Someone I know is trying to sell his unlocked 1st gen iPhone for about $250.

And I'm well-aware that there are numerous reviews and whatnot, but if possible, I wanted some DIRECT feedback of the two from first-hand users. sweatingbullets.gif Like, what makes one better/worse than the other... Thanks in advance. biggrin.gif

It depends on the condition of the iPhone, but I'd probably go for the Curve.

Curve... you could wait for the Blackberry Bold or Thunder, though.

I can't stand the Blackberry OS, and those small tiny plastic buttons don't work for me. The iPhone has more "consumer" driven functionality and is much more of an entertainment/personal device than the Blackberry which targets strictly business consumers. Now with the iPhone 3G they've added Enterprise level support, Exchange, Cisco secure VPN, etc. The days of business only mobile devices are limited. It's funny because when the iPhone first came out all my co-workers had a Blackberry for work, and iPhone for everything else. Now with the 3G, everyone's ditching Blackberry and consolidating with the 3G iPhone.
