So I just got a new car recently, nothing nice or special but something that is "acceptable" for a student to have according to my loving parents. Its been 2 months since I got my car and already I have a couple of scratches on the passenger side and the back on the same side. This is from stupid people who do not care about others but themselves around campus. Anyways, I have a total of 4 small scratches one is actually pretty noticeable. My friend said that I could try rubbing car wax or something to mess with the paint of the car because thats what wax does anyways. But I am not too sure. I was thinking about getting those touch of paint things that you can buy to tough up your car but I wanted opinions before I did something to my car because I do not want to mess it up. The color of my car is silver and basically the scratches are underneath the clear coat so like its white. I do not know what else to say if you need more info ask I will gladly answer. Anything to fix those scratches.

that sucks.. im getting a new car today too and i hope that stuff doesnt happen to my car when i go to school, but im sure it will :/ I would advise against touch paint though, cuz that stuff can look funky if applied wrong. I'll have other ppl help u on other solutions cuz I wana know too

ScratchX works magic! Get some pads and start rubbing! If you need help, there is an excellent tutorial on youtube.

u could always take it to a body shop, and they'll make it look like there was nothing there, but it'll probably cost a couple hundred dollars.
I have a 3-4 inch scratch on my front bumper and was quoted about $400 to get it buffed out and repainted.

if its not deep as in you run ur nail over it GENTLY and can't feel it dig in then u can use scratch-x. It does wonders.. I used it when my dad scraped his bumper on a pole thing at a parking lot. it could take some elbow grease but it does get rid of it. If it's in deep.. you might have to go compound or bring it to a professional. good luck.. some pics might help us..

u can get scratch-x at target or automotive parts store. i got mine at target and it was something like 10 bucks? and while your at it, pick up some microfiber towels. you don't want to scratch the paint trying to get out the scratch.
