Would jogging at 6 AM in the morning then going back home and falling asleep still be considered as "healthy" ?
Basically, would the jogging still be effective for staying healthy and losing a bit of weight (say 5 lbs) even after
fall back asleep?

No it is not healthy at all. I learned in Biopsychology you actually gain weight if you sleep within four hours after you workout/exercise.

... doesn't sleeping help you lose calories?

90 calories per hour... So how does sleeping make you gain more weight? It's not like you're eating or anything... Someone correct me if i'm wrong.. But i don't think you gain weight for sleeping after working out.

Because low leptin levels are associated with weight gain.

umm this is partially true, u can sleep after couple hours, its only cuz your body is active and trying to find things to burn, so after working out you should eat something light and wait a while before sleeping, because sleeping right after will basically deactivate yoru body, thus preventing the body from processing foods and fats.

But isn't the whole point of working out early in the morning is to wake you up for the rest of the day? Lol. Why not just work out at night then if you feel like sleeping afterwards?

^ Naw.. many people work out in the morning because they only have time in the morning and they need the exercise...

I sure hope its ok.. sometimes I workout and get super tired and fall straight to sleep

Same here. I use to go cycling at 5am in the morning, and then head home to sleep all the way til 5pm and during that period of time I lost like 3kgs. O_O
